I have read an article today on www.giga.de, about the ultra mode in doom 3. You need a Graphic Card with 512 MB Ram to run that mode well, with no lags. I think that cant be true. There isnt a card available with this much ram today. What do you need for doom 3 ? A Supercomputer, like a Cray ? But the game will be good looking anway.

hm, didnt know that about soundstorm. I must read that article. Scary, that you cant disable onboard and get the audigy working. I had/have asus boards, it never was/is a problem.

Well said Gator. Different people, like different games. The armory is running, with three at the moment popular games.Thats enough and iI think that is a good way to go in the future. And the future will bring some good games, which could be worthy enough to run more servers. Like i said in another post: its useless for a clan to run (and pay) a server if no one or only a few is playing on it.I hope the armory will always run servers, that are popular. And at the moment its BF-V and JO. DC would run always on my server, because i like it, but the world does not end, if DC is not here anymore.If you dont mind, I will pm you on other occasion in the near future to discuss some issues about that.Hasta la vista

As a guest on your server i wanna point out my own opinion. Its useless to run a server, if no one is one the server or only a small group of people. Thats called: throwing out money of the window. But if you wanna play DC, there are many servers worldwide still running, why dont make dates and play there ? All TAC Members which play DC should find a way to play DC together. Why dont make your own server ? I have tried to play whith you guys DC, but never i saw anyone in the server (at my playing times/european). If the senior council makes the decision to shut down the server, its a right decision, if no one or only a few played there. In my clan, in the past, we had a room for years and we played a lot Action Quake. But the years flew by and we played less and less. And now we play FA. I am the only one you plays DC on my clan i think. I wanna play clan matches too, but my clan is too small for that. If nothing happens in the future, i will join another clan, which plays the games that i like mostly. I wanna say with that: Everyone must make is own decisions to leave or join a clan. A clan membership is no life time warranty. And if a clan shuts down a server with a game you liked, its no world desaster.

Jesus, Statecop, your new system will kick all buts. Your system will be better and faster than my own current high end system. Which motherboard and soundcard do you want ? PCI Express is the best choice. Your decision to buy a nvidia card, is very good. I have some problems with my ati 9800 xt and will switch soon back to nvidia. The rams you mentioned are very fast, but available ? And you have to find a motherboard which matches this kind of rams. HL2, BF2 and Doom3 will surely look like the living hell on your system. Jesus, when i write that, i wanna also buy a new system....

Congratulations Tigerhawk. You are also on july 20th still no. 1. I would like to play against you, but i never saw on the server, because i play at different times than you do. I hope you enjoy gaming FA, like i do for almost six months now. Hasta la vista.

There are many satellites over europe, but for most of the really good channels you need a decoder. I like most: Foxnews, CNN, NBC Giga (good computer shows), SAT 1 (Star Trek Series), PRO7 (Buffy, Angel) and some other "special" channels, which names i cant say here, because its only for older people. heheheheh. Most of the mentioned can i also view through cable. What makes me angry is that you cant look some channels even if you buy for it (special law in switzerland to protect the TV industry here). Some sportevents (Boxing, Wrestling) you cant view in free tv anymore (or only very short versions). But there are some different ways to look this events anyway. You need skill to do that. heheheh.

Sometimes its a little bit scary. As an european i play during the week so around 9 pm euro time. The FA server is filled with a lot of people. But since i have the honor to play on your servers, i didnt see many people on DC and BV-V or JO. Sometimes i have luck when i play deep in the night, at my time range. I often stay wake longer, to join your other servers, but no one is in there. Sometimes its also a little confusing, how many servers are runned by tac or donated for sometime from tac members to the people which play here. I think its great, but its not easy then to keep the servers full. At the moment i think there are two FA servers, but how many DC ? I dont know exactly when BF-V is played, only on Sundays and Mondays ? I remember that someone has said that in the forums.Yeserday night (11.00 pm euro time, saturday ) i wanted to play JO. But only two guys were on the JO Server. Its clear that the euro servers are mostly full at this time, but i would like to play with the tac people.But for my its important that FA is played and will be played. And when someday it ends, no problem, there are and will be another games.Hasta la vista.
