imho no. i think he should be warned (at least). BTW: it's easy to destroy the lonely stray tank at base. firstly b/c we all don't spawn at the same point so some can be safe (outside shooting range, hidden inside a building or shielded by the fence). secondly if you die for the first and second time you can take AT weapon of your choice and blow tank up (with a little help of some friends, perhaps, but well, it's supposed to be a team game). imvho spawn camping is the most devastating when there is only one spawn point left b/c each and every enemy soldier, craft and tank would be heading there so it might be difficult to prepare good defense. So then spawn camping should be forbidden (at least that's how i understand 'no-spawn-camping-b/c-it's-ruining-all-the-fun' rule; btw: It's the same rule as it was in FA) In other cases the enemy forces are divided enough to allow you to regroup your own team around some point of the map. btw: by 'your team' I don't mean all of the members of 'red' or 'blue' forces but the most important pieces of, well, reds or blues. In your case (tac members and friends) regrouping would simply mean: "hey my friends, we all should respawn there. First 5 should secure the area to allow the others to spawn safely".

imo when he was shooting down 2 terrorists he's been using an aimbot.. Did anyone notice? he wasn't pointing his gun at the 'left' terrorist... ADMIN BAN!

AFAIR I've never carried any personal attack on your person, though I might be wrong. [EDIT PART II] To explain my point. If it's a game and we all agree that there are some 'crosshairs' in the middle of the screen (which is probably one of the mostly unrealistic features ever. IRL I've never seen many weapons with crosshairs in the middle of the horizon showing you where you are aiming. In other words, if you want to shoot someone you need to put a weapon against your shoulder and use ironsight or scope) we should agree that someone might be disappointed that his/ her ingame weapon doesn't have a crosshair 'in aiming mode' but some 'iron sight'.

It all depends on the possibility of changing it- like in FA. If you can, it's ok to me. If you can't.. well, I'm afraid there would be some hax sooner or later that would allow you to change it. Like the one which changes a color when you're aiming at the enemy (it'd become red then) or your teammate (it becomes blue).

Personally, I don't have many special moments while I played BF2. I just thought I could drop by here and troll the forums... Oh, I did some stuff: I single-handedly stop a team of entering any craft on uss es*** (using pkm). I died b/c I finally allowed one of them to enter that vtol craft (F35B?) and he chased me up to the tallest tower. I would jump off the ship but swimming takes way tooooo much time. Multiple times I hit my team vehicles while gunning in attack heli. Usually there were my best long-range shots. When we got some troubles of taking off b/c 3 of the USMC's camped at the big tanker in our base I- as a commander- scanned the area and used arty to ask them politely to stop fooling around and get out of there. I dunno about mouse sensitivity but I got 1.00 (which is AFAIR default one) and still can't hit... On some occasions, I could have tons of time to aim- I did even see a name of the enemy I was shooting at but still no kill... I used m24. I got pathetic mouse though and maybe the enemy was too far for my golden bullet to hit a target...

my question is: how much time did you and your friends need to smoke it out? :o

Good post Arnie. I totally agree with you. I don't remember playing with/against you after you joined TAC but I do remember your days in Dial. You were one of my heroes... Right now I do prefer my 'real' (???) life rather than that on-line. Maybe some day, I will join TAC BF2 server, but not now, not yet. I do not think I would buy HL2 so you won't see me playing any source games (unless, Ky will buy it with 2 cd-keys...). It's because if you're shooting at him while (you think) he's on the ground, he, in fact, is in the middle of the air. It's called lag, delay, packet loss, choke or whatever you wish to call it. Or maybe a game don't know what to do with the movement like that so it does do nothing (read: acts like it's a metter of 'bad registering' or 'bad shooting'). Ummm, it looks like programmers and beta-testers were fooled again.

I know a guy who can't play basketball but he was young (a.k.a. 'with potential/ talent') and 6'11''- 7'0'' and earned 4.5 milions $ through 3 years NOT playing at all. His name is Cezary Trybanski. You can easily check this one. He was a member of some nba teams. As for the bridge. It's the best game hands down. Rules are well known, lag/ ping is not a big issue, you don't have to have top-of-the-range PC and 77-button mouse.
