I think your post was removed before some people saw it, and it sure would be nice if you had some proof...

Meet Sgt.PrimeSuspect
That wouldn't be a big deal, except that it means that when he had his knife out he killed more people with it than he died. Hard to do is all I'm saying....

Meet Sgt.PrimeSuspect
I'm pretty sure you don't have over a 1.0 ratio of kills to death with the knife unless you were doing something shady... p.s. I still have more knife kills than you and I hardly play. Not sure that the medic revives is an issue--he has 80 hours as a medic so that's like 6 an hour.

WaW and End of FA
From my dealings with sgossard in the past, I know in general how his mind works. He thinks he has the best ideas for everything and will walk all over the little people (i.e. a gaming community) to do whatever it takes to realize his vision. Sadly, this attitude will probably get him far in the business world. I haven't followed the latest nonsense but I wouldn't be at all surprised if something illegal was done. I'm just so glad the firearmsmod.com forums are gone. Can the game die now?

lots of words there, what was the gist?

Is there a way....
Apparently there is a co-op mod now. Check out the article on the home page over at Doomsday Warriors. Edit: Now that I read a bit on the site, it looks like it's just a mod for the single player? Not sure why they called it co-op..... I haven't tried it out, maybe somehow it magically does what you want it to.

So .. uh .. yeah ... don't throw up on teachers.

Right. It seems like the radius is far less than that in the game-- I'd rather have it not kill the person shooting it than take out 12 guys at at time, though.- How Ironic

:o :o- Armory servers down for maintenance
**EDIT : you know personal attacks are not tolerated here CC - Roach** - regarding the public server --"The Software may be used at any point in time only by eight (8) Client Computers." I guess should have been more specific so you wouldn't need to waste your time researching ventrilo's license agreement. I'm happy that you had time to look all of that up and upload the license agreement to your web site.- Armory servers down for maintenance
naw ventrilo has a stranglehold on hosting service providers, much like BF2 does for the ranked servers. individuals (and groups) can't host their own ventrilo server (legally)- Next Rank

Not sure about the score issue, but here are some tips for ya. You've played a lot more than me so maybe you've figured these out already... 1. Don't fire artillery on a flag the enemy is attacking if it's already grey. It's too late for it to drop before the flag is turned, and if it's a remote flag with no friendlies nearby, the enemy will likely be gone by the time it gets there. 2. Scan every chance you get. Keep an eye out for the lone wolf headed for a rear point. Try to time artillery to meet him there, or notify your squad leaders for support. 3. Move around. One option is to keep yourself near the furthest cappable point from the fighting -- this way if #2 happens, you may be able to intercept the one guy. 4. Use the engineer class and be quick to repair your scan trailer and UAV. Drop supplies on the artillery. Artillery is useless without a pair of eyes (and squad leaders are usually too engaged in combat to request it), and artillery is usually closer to the battle than you would want to be. Besides, by the time you can fire artillery you will have enough time to drop supplies on two different pieces. 5. Don't drop supplies if you see enemy still near your targets. You'll give them C4 ammo. 6. Grab a tank if you can, but don't stay in it and paint a target for aircraft. Keep an scan eye out for infiltrating enemy armor and hop in if somebody's attacking. This doens't apply to all maps necessarily but worked well for me on Gulf of Oman if I'd grab the T-90 as MEC. Granted, a more active player could do more harm with it, but if it's getting rusty... 7. You can drop artillery near friendlies, but watch the situation for a while and don't drop right on the point. If it's an enemy-held point sometimes you can target the enemy spawn that isn't right on the flag, and be a big help that way. 8. Use your commands to notify the squad that UAV and Artillery are ready. Even if nobody responds, you'll be less likely to have a mutiny vote brought against you if it looks like you're active. 9. Keep an eye out for soldiers requesting ammunition. Only squad leaders can request a supply drop, but you can find soldiers needing ammo and drop a crate near them. Just not on their heads- Don't Get Me Wrong!
There is a lot more teamwork in BF2 than any other game I've played (except maybe AA) -- there's usually a squad or two doing all the work ... just join it, or ask to join if it's locked. Then you can spawn with their squad leader and work with them on voice chat if they're doing that. If you're coming straight from FA you will definately have some culture shock. There is a lot more that can kill you, sure, but there's a lot more that you can do to kill as well. If you're a run-and-gun type you might try the special forces rifle first -- it seems to be a good starter weapon. Good luck!- Let's hear what you unlocked!
Unlocked the jackhammer. Instant kill against 1-2 infantry up close. My knife is strong enough to take another out if need be. Horrible at any range over about 20 meters. Might as well take off your shoe and throw it. LOL. All in all, though, I'm pretty happy with it. My next will be the L85. Had some face time when I picked it off a dead enemy medic... very nice scope and accuracy seems to be pretty good. - Bunnyhopping and the nade launchers
