Excellent. Played some yesterday as I'm getting back into CSS. Was great. There was ten of us in there and it was running really smooth. Havent seen it full yet though so I cant comment on that. Good to see the Armory can still run a top notch CSS server. Great work guys. Now we just need to get the population back up in it.

You can, most likely, still overwrite them, they just have to be for the new terrorist model. That's my guess. And normally the downloads have a file structure in the zip/rar file. Just keep that and extract it to c:\program files\valve\steam\steamapps\YourEmailHere\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\models\

Prone is annoying, but I think the nade launcher is worse. There's like no way to counter it, even if youre a good shot the splash on that thing is so big that thing you cant get away.

I don't think you manually patched it properly. Try reinstalling the patch and see if that fixes it.

Hehe, thats pretty good. It's the repair box that the commander can drop in BF2 for those of you that dont get it. EA has had some serious lag issues in the past with their official ranked servers.

Ya, ive been doing it since release and havent had any problems with pb. And I noticed that it took a while the first time i loaded up BF2 after I removed the movies. But after that it goes directly to the menuw ithout any black screen.

Ya, just rename the folder. If you dont want to get rid of the background also then just go into the movies folder and get rid of all but menu and menu_loggedin. Leaving those two gets rid of all the intro crap but keeps the nice background on the menu.

Doubtful itll help as PB is updated every patch, and i think, even more often. It seems it's something related to the actual hardware so that'll take a lot longer for them to track down the problem and fix it. Cards are like 10-15 in a store. So if you feel like playing BF2, then I think you might want to give that a go. If that doesnt fix it (hopefully it will) then you can always return the card. Id suggest sticking with one of the name brand cards, as long as you do that theres not a lot of difference. Plus the nforce ethernet can be a little finicky other times too and supposedly it uses a little CPU power also. So having a separate card has its advantages.
