Well theyve got a nice activation system going that wont let me activate.... I love EA. But Fileplanet gave out a few keys today, and theyre giving the rest out next week. I did something similiar with my 9800Pro to a 9800XT, and also did a similiar task to a friends X800Pro to X800XTPE. It's not really all that hard to do, though there is a risk involved. As others have said, if youre not even familiar with overclocking any part of the system I would not recomend a flash. Process wise it's easier than overclocking, though the risk is higher and its generally considered a more advanced form of tweaking.

Yep Ive got an Eclipse too. Absolutely amazing keyboards. They glow and I love the feel of them. It's not your normal keyboard feel, I dont really know how to desribe it. Kinda more springy but its not really a springy feel. And about the lights, theres a button by the numlock, vol + and - that lets you turn it from Hi-Lo-Off. Useful when you dont want it blasting your eyes out. Cause it is pretty bright.

You do have a point. But I still find it fun...

That's what I would have said. Though I think it looks more like a model of a starship. Like the top part if just the ship with an arm holding it up. The large square is just the base. Looks out of proportion but still looks cool. The ship I see has the engines on the left side and the nose on the right. BTW, what program are you using to model? Ive been interested if starting up some modeling of my own but just never put myself to it.

Profiles should kill themselves, in my opinion. I see no reason for them or the software for that matter. Just map the keys in BF2. That's just my two cents, I know theres a lot of people that like profiles but I just find no reason to use them. All you need on a joystick is fire, secondary fire, throttle, flares, boost, and maybe switch camera. The rest you can hit on the keyboard if theyre that important.

That involves me crashing, a lot. Bunch of the guys I play with use all keyboard but Im just horrible with it.

I have a Saitek Evo and like it a lot. It may look completely weird and uncomfortable, but its very comfortable and easy to use for long periods of time. However on the discussion of mouse/keyboard vs joystick. I use mouse and keyboard for helis (and im pretty good with them) and use the joystick for planes. For some reason I just cant fly a plane with the mouse and keyboard.

Agreed, I spent a good hour doing that one time. It's a lot harder than you think it would be.

White=ehh Dark=The Good Stuff I like a nice dark desktop so I dont get blinded everytime I look at it coming from a darker game. Plus I have absolutely no icons on my desktop except for my recycle bin so I really have no need to read anything over it.

That's pretty cool but 1.) its not a high enough resolution for my desktop, I like my nice crisp backgrounds and 2.) thats kinda weird having an eye look at you all the time.

Ya, I've been messing around with this for a couple days. Only problem is how big of a difference there is in quality from the major cities to the more rural areas. I can zoom in completely on my house seeing a car on the road to pretty amazing detail. And that picture is not even a year old, but then theres other parts to look at that are not nearly as detailed. Still really cool though.

Thats really cool. It's different and thats what makes it so cool. Gonna have to keep this one in my music collection. Still have to listen to the imperial march, thats one of the best songs in all of Star Wars. And John Williams is amazing, he has some of the best and most recognizable movie music of anyone.

How do you guys run your server for BF2 now anyways if its a different IP?
