New Orleans & Gulf Coast
I agree 100% and am praying that everyone hears the cries of our country. We have attempted to aid so many other countries during natural disasters, mostly recently probably the Tsunami. It really would be a show of humanity if those countries came to our aid. This is a moment to put politics by the wayside and let mankind step up. My prayers are with all of those in the southern Louisiana area and their families. May God bring blessings onto all of you.

Should The Armory become BF2 Fulltime?
What about nixing FA but keeping CSS? I've never played FA but for the most part FPS's are the same (in principle at least). I have a feeling that CSS would pull a lot more players since it is still relatively new. Maybe this would be a comparable option.

I like my version better. You've got a very pretty face and shouldn't hide it in a dark room. My $0.02. http://www.vertually.com/downloads/jhkl.vlight.jpg

I agree with all of our other staff members and will add one more piece of information that will help you. The Armory is really more of a community that a clan. We are a group of guys & gals that enjoy playing these games... to play the game. Not to "talk smack" and "start stuff." We do play in matches but that is not our primary focus. We're here to have fun! The main thing that caught my eye about TAC nearly a year ago was that they enforced the rules on their servers. It makes for much better gameplay and much less wasted time (i.e. teamkillers, spammers and hackers). On The Armory homepage, on the left side, you will see a link under Game & Server Info for Ventrilo. Download this software and join us on our Chat Server! We welcome prospective clan members and friends of clan members alike. We're a comical group some expect some good laughs. We use this software exclusively during gameplay so that we can communicate and really enhance our strategy. Otherwise... welcome to the Forums! We look forward to seeing you online!

Exactly... in the end, it's not up to me. I'll keep my sig small in hopes that I can inspire posterity. my brothers.

To be completely candid... yes, I think yours is a bit long. I suppose I just have a difference of opinion. I think that a sig is used so that people can quickly, visually indentify who left a post. I don't really see the relevance in posting BF2 statistics (or any game for that matter). More than likely no one is reading the stats anyway. I know that I don't. I also think that the "Fan Club" sigs are a bit unnecessary, but then again that's because I think that a sig should just be a visual representation of your name. That is, afterall, what a signature is... right? In no way am I trying to be rude here, just trying to make the forums as easy-to-use a tool as possible - for everyone.

I am exactly the opposite... I hate having to scroll for what seems like an eternity just to read 4 posts. All the while trying to find out where the heck the post really is between all the sigs. It's like playing "Where's Waldo" only the prize isn't usually as good.

Agreed. We really need to get a handle on the sigs. It really does making reading the forums a chore since the reader is constantly having to scroll past ridiculously long sigs. If I'm correct, there is a sticky regarding sig size.

WIN FREE SHOES... and check out a new website!
As some of you may know, I am the Multimedia Director for a growing advertising agency in Virginia. We work with some large clients that include Consolidated Shoe, Greer Labs, Sole Collector Magazine, GE Medical, Champs Sports, Foot Action and Foot Locker. Recently Foot Locker approached us with our first web job (right down my alley). They wanted a micro-site to promote Nike's new Nike Air shoes. We worked with an extremely small budget (and went quite over for this micro site) to develop Locker Freaks. Here's the short of it... enter the contest at www.lockerfreaks.com for a chance to win every color way of the new Nike Air! THAT'S FOUR PAIRS OF SHOES WORTH $500+. You can only enter once (dupes will be deleted), but I wanted to offer the chance to all of TAC members. My way of thanking you all for such a kind welcome. I know that the site isn't much on content right now --- but remember it was a small budget micro-site. Because we exceeded the hopes of Foot Locker's VP's, we have been approved to begin work on Phase II of LockerFreaks.com! This will include more shoes, online photos, online videos, wallpapers, screensavers, upcoming artists and profiles, and an online forum --- PLUS MORE CHANCES TO WIN COOL STUFF - 100% FREE! All you have to do is check back to site and enter. If you sign up for the updates, we'll let you know when new contests are available. So... go check it out --- and win some free stuff! Feedback is welcome - after all, you all are the customers. While you're at it, be sure to pick up a copy of Sole Collector Magazine! It's an awesome magazine dedicated to showcasing what's hot in shoes... and as an added bonus there are lots of HOT MODELS in HOT SHOES. We did four full page ads for Foot Locker in the most recent issue which hit stands today! GO GET IT! Enjoy guys - now back to CS:S!

Photoshop CS
As someone who works in advertising design, don't waste your time with anything other than Photoshop. The only graphics programs that real designers care to see on a resume are primarily the Adobe products (excluding web and 3D design softwares). For general use, Paintshop may be easier to learn but as far as longevity and "bang for the buck", you'll find that you'll get much more high quality designs from Photoshop once you really dig into the tool. Hope this helps.

It's going to be a GIRL!!
Congrats JIGA! It's funny... almost a sign I guess - my wife and I just starting trying. I guess it's good to know that another CS:S player out there is making babies. I, for one, can definitely and most immediately understand your sense of excitement YET at the same time this unusual new fear. Maybe it's the fear of not being a good Dad. Maybe it's the fear of a forever life-changing event (which until a baby, possibly being saved is the only event that can compare - yet in a different way). I don't know what it is... but having your baby look into your eyes and say "Daddy" or to smile and run to the door when you get home from work -------- that will take all the fear away. I just know it will! CONGRATS BRO! Be sure to let us know how the 3D Sono goes.

Just give me the word and I'll whip up a little something for you SC. Ain't no thang.- K2:sig goes live.
was just about to ask ;S K2 != Cleric; For all the non-coders... no, I'm not cleric. I am of course assuming you're talking about another user and not the well-constructed healing machine DnD character class.- K2:sig goes live.
That only took about an hour. Like I said, it could still use some photography and some tech elements - I hope to get around to that tonight or tomorrow (since I have no computer to play CS:S on).- K2:sig goes live.
I use a large array of brushes on most of my pieces, but this one actually doesn't use many brushes. Some of the brushes I use I've found on the internet over the years but I also use some custom (homegrown) brushes. I have this really cool photograph that I want to work into this sig but it's on my work PC --- I'll have to get my hands on it and repost.- K2:sig goes live.
As I wait to become a full-fledged TAC member... I thought I would fool around and create a sig. Still needs some tech elements but it's 11:00 and I gotta go to work in the morning. First draft though - all hand created/painted and 100% original. http://www.vertually.com/images/tac/k2.sig0205.gif - K2:sig goes live.
