I've had duallies for years... and the largest advantage that they have brought me is more desktop workspace for my graphics, flash, and video work. Dual monitors don't work for crap with video games. I sure hope that's not the only reason that you bought them. The only game that I have ever found any good use for dual monitors is Flight Simulator and that's only because it runs in windowed mode. So, you can put your extra views or instruments on your second monitor and use the main monitor for your actual pilot's view. Good luck though Nadril and welcome to the world of the 133t!

I'd play... I've got some good memories from that game --- and did get much madder playing CSS than I do BF2. Perhaps it's because the hitboxes on BF2 seem to be somewhat accurate. :peace: Anywayz, if it happens... I'm down.

The only other thing that I really saw is that you were setting yearsLeft to a string because it was enclosed in quotes. yearsLeft="$retAge-$myAge"; This would make yearsLeft equal to "70-30" instead of the 40 that you want. Also, you do not need quotes when assigned the initial values to retAge and myAge. Their integers and syntacically should not have quotes. Quotes are reserved, generally speaking, for strings such as "Mary had a little lamb." The remainder of changes that I made were merely syntacical. This is a good point and I failed to think about these on my list. But all of the Quest series were revolutionary during their time. Kings Quest, Police Quest and Space Quest. They just don't make games like this anymore. Another oldie but goodie was the Ultima Series. Not one of the best games, but the first game that I ever played on a PC that my family owned was The Black Cauldron. Well, I was trying to think of revolutionary games too. MFS was the first of it's kind. Although not as entertaining as Falcon or Commache... it was the first true Flight Simulator. I learned to fly on that thing --- and it shown through when I went to get my real pilot's license at 16 years old. :peace:

You all aren't think in advance. Why did I buy a 64 bit AMD 2.2 ghz processor when I'm not even running 64 bits apps or a 64 bit opsys??? I'm planning in advance. This keyboard is the same. Think of the games whose keys you may not know... or the programs --- such as photoshop or After Effets that has endless hot keys.

I've gotten hooked on podcasts in the past 24 hours and have been watching episode after episode of Diggnation. It uses OLED technology and can actually dynamically change the images on the keys. What does this mean? The keys display letters when you need to type, but displays icons (movement keys, fire, alt-fire, talk) when you're playing games. All fully customizable. I can't wait for these to become available! I know that I'm a little late coming in on this thread, but I've got to make a couple of points here. First, and simply, two wrongs don't make a right. It's a good rule to live by in life and it's a required rule on our servers. Secondly, if you were auto-kicked for teamkilling it was likely only for one round or for a small amount of some preset time limit. We generally do not perma-ban users for teamkilling. Only in severe circumstances --- i.e. every time they come to the server they just TK until they get kicked. This will result in a perma-ban. Lastly, I don't think that anyone has shown you any "unbridled agression" here. We are simply stating the rules and guidelines for our servers and attempting to right your particular situation. Some other clans may have responded with a "you were teamkilling to EXPLITIVE. shut up and deal with it." But TAC is not that way. Instead you received multiple posts trying to explain what happened and why. It is also very difficult for us to welcome a new poster with open arms and a big smile who comes into our forums calling our admins unobservant and incompetent. At TAC we always have multiple admins on duty for a reason - to help all the players on our servers. We're here to play the game and have fun and we want everyone else to have fun as well. I do hope that you will rejoin us on the TAC BF2 server soon now that you are more informed about our guidelines for gameplay. If you do have a similar situation occur again, please contact any player with a (=A=) tag and notify them of your problem. If they are not an admin, then they can easily get in touch with one.
