Everyone complained that it wasn't realistic enough - and now that it sounds more realistic ---- - everyone is still complaining. I haven't played the new patch yet, but it sounds to me like EA finally has honed the game into being a bit more of a true Battlefield Simulator and not some lame-o Tiger Arcade Handheld Shoot-Em-Up game. I can't wait to play it.

Smash, since I am the Admin that banned you, I feel that you deserve a response from me. I hope you don't mind me addressing this in a public forum, but I feel that all of our players have a right to know what happens when players (such as yourself and others) disobey our rules. You were already given multiple warnings and opportunities to change the way you presented yourself on our server PRIOR to the ban. Those warning went unanswered. The reason that you were banned was a blatent disrespect for our rules and our players. If you would like me to send you a copy of why you were banned through PM, I will do so - it is far to inappropriate to post here. At this time, I have to agree with the previous post and say that if your intentions are as genuine as you say, then you will continue to visit our forums and participate in our discussions here. Show us through the words that you post, that you are willing to change. Then, and only then, will your ban be reconsidered. To lift a permanent ban after less than a week is a lot to ask. Please continue to visit us here at the forums and feel free to PM me with any questions regarding your ban and the potential lifting of the ban in the future. Hey, thanks for the heads up Deathmonger! Nice website too. As a Christian, it's very nice to see an online gaming Clan of devoted Christians. I'll definitely stop by your server soon and check you guys out.

Not at this time. Smash, you were banned for EXCESSIVE bad language on our server. We have been monitoring your activity for a while now and have even given you warnings about your language. We pride ourselves here in running a clean server and that's why we attract a lot of players. We also have quite a few younger players that frequent our server and we do not wish to have them seeing/reading this kind of language while in game. It is also one of our server rules - which scroll by frequently while in game. Now, we do allow the occassional "slip of the tongue", but when someone takes the time to type multiple curse words in game - we tend to be a bit more stiff armed. I'm sure you understand. At this time, I do not see us lifting your ban. Our administrators are always available to discuss bans on our Ventrilo channel. Please visit us there if you wish to discuss this matter further.

Yeah it does. I remember being on Vent the night that K logged on and told us about the family addition. I can't wait to put shoes on K3! He's only two weeks old, but I know that he'll be in shoes and overalls before I know it. Wish we could keep em small a little longer.

Pally - sorry to hear about your mother. I know that the past 4 months or so have been very difficult for you. Please know that we're here for you - the best that we can be as an online family. You're in our thoughts and prayers buddy.

Having been on both sides of this situation I feel that I can relate fairly well. Being at a team-skill disadvantage of being beaten back to just one spawn point does not make the game fun... but it is part of the game. It is VERY frustrating to spawn and immediately face helo's, bombs, artillery and foot soliders. I do agree with you Scraps. At the same time, this would be a very difficult problem to police. Also, we would likely lose a good number of players because of it. Everyone here has camped an uncapable base at least once I would wager --- I know that I have. However, the problem doesn't seem to occur often enough to warrant a new rule or an addendum in my opinion. Generally the problem works itself out after a few rounds when less-skilled players leave the server and new players enter. I don't believe I've seen one team get "slaughtered" more than four rounds, or so, in a row. My advice, as someone who does get frustrated about this, is ONE - don't stop playing the game. We want you to play here... that's why we brought you on board. None of us want to lose a good team player over something like this. And TWO, if you're in this situation - do what I do... throw grenades at your feet every time you spawn until the round is over. It makes the tickets go down faster. Seriously, I do this when my team is getting whopped and has no hope of coming back. Hope this helps dood - and hope to see you back in game soon.

Once extracted, it should have the following files: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels\Road_to_Sinjar\Info\ C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels\Road_to_Sinjar\Client.zip C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels\Road_to_Sinjar\Server.zip NOTE: Do not extract the "client.zip" or the "server.zip" ------------------------------------------------------ Note the change to the location of server.zip. Not true... there is one level where you cannot go to one. For some reason, it's the easiest to get to, but when I use it --- I fail. Don't remember what level it is, but I know it has three overflow pipes on the bottom and you can't go to the far left one. Otherwise, you can usually use any of them.
