Definitely on board. I can't resist another good installment of BF2. I think that it's gonna be great. Same great game with a slight twist. Although I do agree with Fatty that it seems they left this stuff out of the original release just so that they could hit us up for another $50 less than six months later. :peace: Oh well.

You are very correct. Statistics from some of my larger websites indicate that Internet Explorer counts for some 80+% of the viewing audience with Mozilla (Firefox, etc) in second at 17+%. That only leaves 3% of the audience that is using some other browser... be it cell phone browsers, Opera, or any of a slew of free browsers out there. It is a requirement that my websites be cross-browser compatible otherwise I would only code for Internet Explorer. You're only missing out on 20% of the market. If you know anything about marketing, then you know that a mailer (via US mail) is considered very successful if 10% of the people that are mailed act on that mailer. So, to guarantee that 80% of the audience can view the site --- your're still getting far more than the majority of viewers.

Hey guys, thanks for all the positive comments. Mostly, I'm just glad that Eskimo likes it... he is, afterall, the one that has to wear it around. A couple of remarks though: Sure after I take care of the other six that I've said that I'd do. I actually bought these skills from Ebay. Don't be fooled. Yup, me does think that I do this for a living. It isn't always as fun as one might think. The disadvantage of doing it for a living is this little thing called --- DEADLINES! Thanks again guys. Agreed. We never team switch so that we can be on the same side. Not only does it make us look bad, but it isn't very good practice for us as a clan. I believe that I speak for most everyone when I say that we play on whichever side we spawn on (even if it's the losing team). TAC really is about commaraderie and gameplay. We want everyone to have a good time and are not going to put ourselves on some kind of virtual pedestal to ensure that we have fun and no one else does. Thanks for the observations though. It's people such as yourself (willing to speak out) that make the server what it is --- and better. Oh, and welcome to The Armory forums! :o

And note, that I was not the one that banned him. I do not have that authority. It was a collective decision by the Senior Council based on this, and past problems involving this visitor. We would never BAN someone just because of a sig.

Same thing happened to Flashe. Sad. I'm waiting for the post that tells me the v1.03 patch is actually causing my motherboard to melt and release radioactive isotopes into my house that are slowly causing my wife and I to develop cancer. Uninstalling will not help. Chemotherapy will not help. We apologize for the inconvenience, but you and everyone in your house is going to die. We do hope that you continue playing Battlefield 2 in the meantime and we do hope to resolve the problem in the v1.04 patch. Or at least reduce the amount of radiation to little more than that of 10 running microwave ovens. - EA TECH SUPPORT

I agree about the new rank system. I feel that they went from one extreme to the other... but at the same time I, and many others, feel that the ranking system really has detracted from the gameplay. Sure, there are advantages to being a medic or support personnel now but I think until they have some kind of real-world reward, who cares? I can play the game and never play medic or support and it's not going to damage my rank to the point where I don't want to play the game anymore. BUT, if EA were to say... offer a $10 rebate on BF2: Spec Ops if you achieved the highest rank in BF2 --- that would be some real-world incentive. When it comes right down to it, I'd prefer they spend time making the game better to play (physics and real-world aspects) rather than wasting countless hours on ranking. What we all want here is a realistic battle simulator, right? There's your next action-item EA. Now GET TO WORK!

We have quite a few younger players that visit this forum and I don't think they need to see it. I don't want to see it. As mentioned above, none of the games we play have this over-the-top gore and I don't want it on these forums either. This sig has nothing to do with the games that we play. Sigs are generally either based on someone's name, game they play or an interest that they have. Your sig is none of those. Remove the sig. This is not a request. Thank you for your cooperation.

I disagree. I would prefer [TAC] over -TAC- or =TAC= ... I think that the brackets break the clan badge from the much better than the dash or equals. I'm sure everyone will have an opinion on this. Perhaps a poll is in order?

Yeah, that's gotta be a bogus release. I can't imagine that artillery will not cause TK's. That would make it WAY too easy, and also VERY unrealistic.

This would've been a GREAT find... if half of the people asking the questions were even remotely intelligent. Good reading, just a little disappointed to the lack of quality questions.

Yeah... make it smaller. It's WAYYYYYYYYYY to big. Sigs should be no larger than about 550x150. Soon, we will be restricting the size (and number) of sigs so please go ahead and resize. Thanks.
