Doh !! Ya, M4 and ak4u. Special ed I mean ops gun.

I mostly been going as spec ops or tank killer. I like the laser sight spec already has. Think since often going as tank killer, the da0 will help me stay alive more then that small machine gun.

LOL. I water logged a few trucks testing water depth here and there as well as full speed with jeep to try jump across broken bridge.

I asked Dentist if he'd pay me to keep them or send to some lab for whatever use as I figured they were worth something. He smiled and said he thought maybe he gave me too much gas.

Maybe sending it too much signal strength ? Loudness switch off ?

I haven't gotten accurate yet. Maybe low fps problem with that. I have most success with g36 zoom dot for close to even long range sometimes.

Further on the tweeking for bf2 ... After concluding from week long trial as already posted, I have further conclusion on tweeks... TigerHawk and I been palying for the last many hrs but with a differance. I left my page file as tweek file suggested 2mb max and min size but had put hers back to windows control. She has had no probs last few hrs but I have had 2 far apart time wise bf2 in game video probs. I never had any before tryign these tweeks, just lag if server ping and players ping was too much. So I am concluding it is not better to set virtual memory swap file of windows to custom settings. I am putting it back to winxp control now. Furthermore, when we were using win98se up to this summer, we learned that some games, specifically RA2, do not work well if at all if windows does not have full management of swap page file for virtual memory. Hope this all saves someone the headaches and hair-pulling loss. :peace:

I just tried that too. There were 3 files in that folder which I deleted and left in recycle bin. Entering single play server showed redoing video settings. But when I got in and move around a bit, the screen went mostly black. So I closed game, went to file manager. That folder which had originally had 3 somewhat identical files with different dates/times that now are in recycle bin, had a new file of current time/date. I deleted that. Went to recycle bin and restored only the most recent of original 3 files. Went back in same single map and spot. Used console "renderer.drawfps 1". And was surprised to see same higher fps which we had with the overclocking of vid gpu and mobo cpu. Surprised because vid card and cpu are back to normal default settings because "glitchs" had started to happen with various things from overclocking. Bottom line is, with no overclocking, deleting all but latest file from that folder, we have 15% more fps just like the overclocking got us. We feel more relaxed without overclocking. So thanks to persons responsible for the info leading to this test and conclusion. :peace:

so i guess maybe run firewall scan of internet able files on pc or find firewall settings place to specify allow all for css exe.

ya, i played duke nukem and shadow warrior online with klink yrs ago, thru 28k modem, with about 12 others, with 7-11 fps with almost no probs. shows how long it's been since i bothered to check in game fps in games. as long as they ran playable i didn't worry about it. with more demanding games now, 15 fps may usually be okay, until one of a number of variables happens. like net speed slows ; other player net or system slows ; server struggles with high ping players, causing less response time for all, especially when you get near a high ping player or the opposite, you get near very low ping player with your ping marginally high, you get lag ; etc, etc, etc. makes me wonder if bf2 servers can have ping limits set, so that if anyone hits a set ping target of say 200, they automatically get kicked. prob maybe with that is it makes server cpu work much harder maybe, further slowing game for all ? as with running our own fps viewer, i suspect it works your cpu so much calculating that you end up seeing much less then you would be getting witout fps detector running ?

nice. as long as you can afford to keep it. with gas prices the way the may go in future, if able, in future i may consider one of those electric cars that have tiny gas motor for winter heat and helping electric drive and batteries when needed.

just a matter of practice i guess. i not great with any yet. best with the tiny red dot of g3 i think the gun is, for special ops. even close up i like to quickly switch to it for more accurate "in your face with this" shots. do i read posts right, does the g3 upgrade not have this ? as to voting to like or not iron sights, "i no nothink". i mean, for realism it's there. "aircraft style" hud sight crosshairs mid screen would sure, be easier. i not sure if easier would be better. i abstain.

we were/are using most minimum bf2 video and audio settings possible. nvidia and winxp set for max performance. nothing overclocked. after many hrs reading tweek info posted by klink for vid cards, xp, cpu ... found out most i could push nvidia gpu was 300mhz from defualt 250. most i can push cpu is 110 mhz BUS (lol) from default 100. any higher and well i won't bore you with that long hairpulling story. after nights of tiring work on these, bf2 fps bottoms out usually around 18 instead of 15. not much. hardly seems worth it. but maybe it means fewer of those occaisional busy area lags as we have few more fps before noticable lag. if in future we became able to replace something, what would make most differance ? faster cpu then current 1.5mhz now clocked at 1.65 mhz ? faster then nvidia 5200 fx 128 mb 250 mhz gpu now set at 300 mhz vid card ? more vid ram card or just faster card ? more then current 2 x 256 mb rams = 512 mbs ? oh and the mobo is only 100mhz bus i presume since cpu front side bus default is 100mhz. what about that ? or are all the above severe "bottlenecks" meaning changing any 1 thing will still be restricted by other parts ?

Dug this up from well before we got the game, so didn't know about it. Was looking fopr way to check fps to know if various tweeks do anything. TigerHawk pc averages around 15/66 to 20/50. Hogan av 18/55 to 22/48. QUESTION : What do these mean ? Why in other people screen shots do I see higher number first but ours it 2nd? clearly our 1st is fps at time, but what is second # ?

lower demands on system by reducing mouse sensitivity, lower video details to minimum or off, sound minimum, etc. try 800 res.

sorry if a 1 time bad choice of words got you this. think before you speak. yes, the sc's may discuss it with him, depending on the details, your history, etc. it's still up to btd mostly. try a pm apoligy to him maybe. since fa is dropped here end of month, all should behave since bans will get less consideration to unbanning. Now that's some good preplanning. Save stock up gas before the gas shortage. Eat lots of beans. :o
