For few weeks pc1 locks up when map cycle switching to coldwar. pc2 has not. til tonight. earlier tom\night i copied pc2 coldwar to pc1 to see if fixed. but both files had same size and date. now pc2 locked up on switch in map cycle to coldwart. oops, typo, lol. i'll maybe redownload it from armory or copy from sierra folder to steam.any comments ?

Doesn't your start menu that comes up from former improper shutdown also give you the option of step by step confirmation of loading each item ?I had to do that once and when it had trouble knew what was causing it.

and ofcourse you reboot after every install or uninstall and run win doctor and disk doctor like norton utilities or "fix-it"

I waited for days for validate number from them in email, then changed the email for it to send to and code came to that new email address.

so i finally went won-{y}=Yar Pirates FA server which impressively has upped to 32 player max from former 24. working nice. i just miss stats and being able to challenge by clan mate togerhawk stats. o well. still fun and good play at yar pirates.Salute y'all and Yar Pirates.

so ... if i use other pc = pc1 ... change name to mine , i won't mess up tigerhawks' stats from that pc which she usually uses ? regardless of 2 different half cd/won id installs, 1 in pc1 the other in pc2 ?

I seem to recall it doesn't matter which pc/won id machine is used as stats are related to username ?or am i wrong ?i preer corner pc when tigerhawk no here but don't want to risk messing up our stats when not sure.answer is ? Salute :wink:

yes, as said above, so you can play your own music cds :wink: , theses patches are often only good for specific game versions :wink:

My 8 yr/old was playing DC yesterday without changing my usual player name and told me after I returned from "smoking in the boys" room" that he thought he saw a message saying "Shultz don't use tags here".I have played little DC so far or read it's forums so wondering does it matter ? I thinking about getting BFV. Still love FA. Been busy with 3 boys that as of noon are off somewhere for rest of my vacation week ... yahoo !! . No work til Monday 3pm. As [TBT]Gen_TigerHawk mentioned, generally speaking, , changing map rot is more interesting then having the same rot .An idea may be to have a map vote link with all map links for rating, to see ever changing preferances of all to maps. Even a very good map gets tiring if too often, and interest declines.Salute,[TBT]Srg_Shultz

I didn't see any discussions about the dc 0.7 add on mod version 7.? . I 'm wondering if i use it will it prevent me from joing current armory server for dc.

I noticed when entering ip it never finds but will join.

Thanks. I chose my player name after the character in old "Hogan's Heros" commedy series in ww2 German prison camp of GI's. A funny show. Made me laugh as does this game sometimes. Shultz often said "I know nothink, see nothink, hear nothink !!" Seems since someone always finds player ips which should not be available to public, play on server unsafe ... WHICH ADDRESSES MAJOR CONCERN OF GAME SERVER SHOWING PLAYER STATS AND IP ADDRESSES ... THIS SHOULD NOT BE SHOWN...use high speed dsl which creates diiferent ip each time you use it ... unlike cable which is always same ip ... My security hardware and software often blocks stuff late night that came while playing at "The Armory" ... not that it's them ... attacking ip is not theirs ... but could be traced with enough similar occurances ...Sad becasue this leads to less chance of free game servers for all ... in which only paying customers can play and complain ...no laughing matter ...[TBT]-Srg Shultz.

Seems even with latest updates to steam, fa, armory, cd, etc ... some still manage to ping players' ips and casue lock-ups ... the security hardware/software blocked the attack with traceable address .
