Anyone know about this ?it said could not find map ... yet ti lnow all maps worked fine.it was trying to load "lost village".

Who can confirm affirmatively removing these files made for less saggy play with many players ?

Jawohl. I noticed same this afternoon.

It was both, back and forth, since lag worse in 4, kept checking at end of maps if 1 had room and got in number of times. But as said we've been noticing this for over month. One member then the another would lose clickability, play 2 hrs and see no change next day. Is tigerhawk's month-old theory correct, that once personal stats are lost, continuous 2 hrs is needed to get them back ?

We [TBT] members have been puzzled about this issue for over a month.The issue is when we check our clan stats and see playername not "ranked" or clickable, which results in him having very high (bad) rank number, dragging clan rank down with it.When I asked month ago in forum I was told player does NOT NEED MINIMUM 2HRS NON-STOP, just total of 2 hrs play recorded in 14 day period.Yet we've had players playing over 2 hrs on past days and seen no rankability appear for them the following day.So we've been keeping track for month and don't see similar results with time played, kills, deaths, subtracting 15 th day ofcourse.[TBT] Col Hogan played yesterday about 3 hrs total, at different times. Still unclickable today and rank dropped from 1500 to 2500 ????Tigerhawk suspects that if you loose stats clickable rank, you MUST play 2 hrs non-stop to get it back.We need a reliable answer on this. Please explain.

I just renamed mine. there's a c:\fa29.txt, fa29.log, hllog.txt. They were about 2500 kbs. After playing in empty server, menus fine, disconnecting/closing fa/steam, th files were back, recreated by fa or steam, but with only few kb size.

Hmmmmm... maybe try everything imaginable before the big uninstall steam and it's games, reboot, del remaining folders/files, clean registry with reg cleaner, reboot, reinstall all ...maybe try : not having those files there before running patch, move them or rename them.

has been 1 fa, 1 bfdc, 1 bfvn, 1 clan match. they had all 4 just for 2.9 trials for 2 days.

Played ok last night in main armory server. just tried to join it, only one showing for fa in ta, was 1 player in thanatos, it gave me error saying my client.dll differs from server's.I not sure but think the fix for this was to copy/paste the ifc22.dll file into appropriate folder from other won fa folder ?

Did you make note of where the folders are ... uninstall ... reboot ... del folder remnants remaining ... run registry cleaner ... reboot ... defrag ... reinstall ... reboot ?

Doh !! It's ok now. I assumed partner had done it correctly and posted when got home from work. Then did it myself and all's well

The old red or blue vests copied/pasted into models\players aren't working anymore with 2.9. Unless I did it wrong, was working fine in earlier versions. I copied the models\players folder from 2.8 won folders to steam fa 2.9 models folder.Any knowledge or opinions ?

i hope they got rid of those annoying 10 sec delay noise making grenades that realistically do not do that ...

First, my sympathies and hopes you find ways to find joy as much as possible.My mother died on thanksgiving 2 "thanksgivings" ago, to the day.My Dad had attack on last new years eve and is now gone.I'm bitter on hoildays subconciously as a result.2 children, me and sis. She set funeral service to move him from Florida to Toronto, Canada, to give family and friends normal time to return from U.S. to Canada for service on may 29.Service I had to book online on darn visa which takes me forever to pay off credit from tight budget. O well.Point is ... I unknowing, til getting away from frustrating pcs to bars for while, realized, when stressed out worrying about something like death or any major wories like the major speach i must plan in pc, relief can no longer be found in online games becasue the original stress or negatives makes finding relief a gamble, which not good if on bad team, which then compounds one's negative feeling.So i guess my point here is don't rely on online games for stress relief as it could add to it.Count on stuff that has no chance of "backfiring" at you ;-)Cheers and best wishes ;-)
