I felt sorry for other team though as they had troulbe getting out of base much. But respected them for not wining. They regrouped better and eventually gave us harder time. Especially later in Oberland when some snuck in to base crates of ours.I wished "Skynet" had been on our team, he would have enJOYed it :wink: PS : For laughs from a ww2 movie see "Kelly's Hero's". Anyone notice anything odd lately about player stats ? As to being able to click on player name to see detailed stats. I = [TBT] Srg Shultz, [TBT] Col Hogan, [TBT] Gen_TigerHawk and [TBT] Maj. Wolfgang have all noticed in clan stats are names loosing clickability, dropping individual rank and clan rank. So the names have been used to get them skill-ranked again. But even after playing about 1.5 hrs each night for 2 nights, skills not viewable. Makes us wonder if 2 hrs continous is needed even though Taledro posted long ago that it is just 2 hrs in 14 days total. Could be dropping of older then 14 day stats I guess. But doesn't seem to explain why skills not coming back up.Anyway, no biggy.Cheers

I tried to log in to original FA website to post positives I've learned of TA against recent flamer. But although my login name appears in box there i could not remember the password. That's Shultz for ya Sorry, I work on it or create new acct there. What I wanted to post for all FA fans to see was the following ... anyone is welcome to copy paste my comments here or anywhere to anywhere ... I appreciate The Armory. I have got much joy playing in their server for yrs. I am human like all of us, and have had times when stressed about other stuff, maybe counted too much on enjoying TA for stress relief. Add to that late night, too much booze, bad team, no one listening, etc ... can get frustrating ...FACT is, I've learned TA has very good intentions ... to be as bad language/manners free as they can for the many young players in the world that find it ... with use of screen text filters for words most parents agree they do not want their children using as it leads to bad thinking and attitudes.They are giving you a FREE priviledge to enJOY their server playing/interacting with others/ getting satisfaction from team interaction/learning to improve/getting and giving smiles and laughter/whether you win or loose ;-) Most of them are very good with judgements ... we are all only human ... with various stresses ... so all are not perfect all the time ... especially if late, tired and maybe "under the influance a bit" ;-)Be understanding ... cut them the slack they cut you ;-)Consider the much work it requires to keep many servers running well, protected from hackers, backed up daily, the stats many of us like to see daily require downtime to be done, etc, etc ...Consider all that is involved ... don't take it for granted.Instead of picking at human imperfections, appreciate and give credit for the big good job they try to do.As I once said ... less wining and more dining ... don't be winers taking up their time ... they are dining you letting you in to have fun ... dine them back ... give them credit where credit IS due ... donate ... you know busy times see full fa server ... encourage them to have 2nd fa server or free up dedicated fa clan match server when not in use, by donating to their high cost in time, money, and frustration dealing politically with winers.So try not to waste their time. It's their servers after all :-)Try to be helpful rather then critical ;-)i have donated and will continue asap.Once you get to know them a little hearing them on ventrillo they use for BFV, you'll understand better they are "hip" ... "cool" ... in other words, respectable people desrving of respect. Especially Gator, Shotty, and the other higher reps ... but they have lives to live so many others helping monitor their numerous servers ... these are not like our paid jobs ... free time for us ... so respsect and be thakful for that ... Jeepers. Reminds me of Gen Burkhalter. What a crab. Some of it made no sense. The only point I have comment on is his asking people to shut up. Was it done disrecpectfully ? But, sometimes people go on and on and on the radio, tying it up, not giving others a chance to use it to request help or give helpful enemy recon to team. But as to sense, common sense needs to be used. Like a license, it's a privelege to be there. Is it late at night meaning no youngsters likely, and overtired or drunk people possible. How important is it anyway that you use radio for what you were thinking of saying. Often it's no big deal. Depends how long the chatter goes on and what is being said. Sometimes they are such good players they manage the map well and win despite tying up the radio with their chat, so no need to hear from you, so no big deal. I f you wanna put your 2 sense in flip them on to screen O O I hear Col Klink calling me, gotta go

Although i don't care for his sometimes negative style of voice talk, which would be nice if there was way of recording/proving, which i heard/saw him warned about in that map i was in on his team, tigerhawk i think may be confused. i remember after dying out of reins from his/our red team, our team was still surrounding blu's base, i recall tigerhawk on opposite team. so what she thought was blu defensive mortor just outside their base, may have been red offensive mortor from my red team i remember him being on as i got in his way without knowing and don't forget rude comments like get the **** out of the way ... y'all must remember it's not intentional ... get players attention by shooting him if he not see you ... anyway ... if both teams out of reins as they were, i don;'t see a problem wit heither side firing mortor especially when red can't get up to where blu spawn is...seems there needs to be much less wining and much more dining ;-)in other words, what the arsenel selection and map deployment allows, goes. to make up more rules to remember for many players is asking a lot. it reminds me of when i was little and we argued about who shot who with sticks, lol. anhd how fae you could do that, and hopw close to home base where you retuened/started from you could be shot.bottom line in my opinion is if youe don't use and get team cooperation from voice recon of reinforcements needed here and there and watch that base and flanks are covered as you run out like football receiver, don't complain if you get nothing and other team steals your base or crates.the voice it what makes this game stand out above the rest, even BFV, whn you have people listening and responding and using their mikes too, but only for team needed info, not chit chat ;-) sure chit chat is done in slower games like bfv where they don;t use team channels yet to welcome everyone and have more relaxed slower game speed for now, when it is, no one should complain.again, if you aren't major $ donator, if you don't like what's happening at a specific time, get out, don't wine. if an apparent questionable problem, post it. rejoind and try again shortly later.have fun, it's like but not really war, so serious is good but not an order ;-)

File " MSVBVM60.DLL ", error 1157. Prob solved. Link at major geek site where download comes from has faq page with this prob listed and download link to get ms runtime installer that puts needed file in. Spywareblaster working now.

Some tiem ago, I had pc slowing down. No new programs running to explain what was hogging resources. Usual disk doctors and registry doctors either found nothing or locked up. Someone here posted link to get Spybot. It found many adware and spyware installs I was unaware of. Watch those free software demos as they source of such stuff. Spybot took it all out and immunized against most gettign back in, although the odd one like "adclick" is still found back from time to time. Pc was running fine again. Then, week after that same problem of slowdown. But no ad/spyware found. Hmmm. I used Spybots tool section that shows all files loading at startup. EXCELLENT. As you highlight each item, it pops up window that tells you what it is for and whether you need it loading at startup. By letting it take all not needed startup items out pc performance was restored. But I know there's still something wrong somewhere because the Norton Speeddisk defragger still locks up at 65% of opimizing-sorting before it gets to defragging stage. If I turn of sort by access date it will finish. So guessing a file with bad date/time locking it. Diskdoctors found some bad file dates in "divx" folder and fixed but prob exists with speed disk. No biggy as defragging workable withoput acess date sorting.

Sorry for ya. If affordable, use 2nd hard drive to back up entire main c: harddrive for easy retore in case needed again. For extra safety, don't leave backup hard drive connected. Good luck.

I have never had, or heard of ".exe" errors, so it must be only happening to you. I would suggest reinstalling it. IMHO, and at the present time, BF:Vietnam is the best FPS game in the world. :mrgreen: Yavol !! :o good fps and hills for 4 by 4 in with jeeps and tanks with tunes blaring

Ya lol, yavol, weeks ago I thought someone was cheating when I got killed 3 times in row leaving tunnel, looking everywhere for shooter to no evail. Then looking up with arms raised, , and getting rained on with lead noticing what I thought was lightening Now I know something , it not a hack but a map glitch When you get "high" enough, "cloud 9" level, you see enemies coming thru tunnel and can tell your team when to fire "Eye in the sky"

Yavol heir commadaun. Pings for both pcs heir are usually good, in range of 60-100. Dankashein for raising max players from 26 to 28. It has been full quite a bit at busy times. Salute

Jawol. I seem to recall a couple crashes and/or connection errors last night between 1am and 3 am. Again, a few in a row today between 1pmm and 3 pm.
