4-12 shifts mon-fri i work if tiring 3 days may play late wed night/thrs morn ... otherwise late fri...always sunday 4pm - monday 4am.I'll check 'who's playing' at Armory web in all 3 and go from there.

Lol. yavol, done some embarASSing things glad it entertaining some of you sometimes I try to keep sense of humor in games with everyone, realizing some can get a little carried away by the game, and/or drinks, and have slip of the tongue, or is it slip or trip on their tongue A little goofing around for fun ok, but suggest y'all keep eye on reins and when they get low 'straighten up soldier' out of respect for team mates that would get more fun with serious attempt to win :wink: Oh, I should give credit where it is due and mention Klink did the Village People overlay of his/mine/other people faces as well as many other funny pics we used to use as FA sprays before steam. Tigerhawk did the sig pic setup. I'm learning it, so far know nothink Salute :wink:

Great idea. I had been thinking about suggesting a link for logged in users only, containing list of all maps, since some of us , can't remember all the names, all the time . Maybe it could be set so each member can only once rate each map with poor, satisfactory , good, great. Similar to the map vote poll and resulting bars that appear after voting, from main page. Otherwise, a post here of all map names would be helpful for some of us to copy paste edit our choices. I don't usually care what map comes on, variety spice of life. That sand map with long stretch without ammo box can be furstrating but take it as challenge instead, regarding what best "ars" may be so as not to have it blown off . As long as it doesn't crash my ash Some become very 1-sided when spawn surrounded and you can't find cover or ammo, like Omaha. Paradise can be fun for red getting all those skill levels from captured ammo, that normally most of us would never achieve. Iwojima can be fun if team doesn't bunch up too much in too narrow tunnels. But again a challenge to use head, spread out, single file, so always someone covering it. So I don't seem to have faves or hates really. rrrrr, gotta go drive bus now, hopefully not like i drove tank over hill and dale in nam sunday. i sure did the rock and roll thing. was fun, reminded me of when i had jeep cj and explored "bush" Salute.

Seems also to me youre system should run it ok unless you insist on very high res and details setttings. If you really must have more, I'd ask store of card can be returned no questions asked, in case you find out you spent the money for little improvement.

Condolances to all. Been close to that myself a long long time ago. So understand this sad decision is sometimes made because they are very sad about one or more things. What we all must try when feeling very depressed is to realize things could always be worse. Like, you're alive, have place to stay or can get to one one way or another if social assisstance or work needed. Job seeking can be very depressing. You keep applying everywhere, take what you can get and keep applying for something better. Your health could be worse. You could be in worse area of the world. Instead of focusing on the negatives now, look longer term to how and what you would like. Make plans to get that. Future can always be better if you work long term at having it better. Realize how your actions or inactions may effect others.And get playing FA at The Armory :wink:

Thanks for update. Be nice if they incorporated features liek FA has. Team voice, preset voice messages, etc.

Neither for me. Though idea of vanilla rum instead of lambs rum with diet rootbeer sounds good. More to taste. Though after while taste buds don't work well either diet because sugar adds to hangover :roll:

Yes, I agree about VIA chipsets as less then great. Have VIA mobo in 2nd pc. had troulbe getting BF to run until I stopped using built in mobo via vid chips and inserted GF2-64mb vid card. all games run in it now.the via chipset was the one that i got worse results out of when updating to newest drivers. was better when i went back to slightly older drivers for it.

Readme.txt file of nam on program menu i think said it may have minor probs wit hsome ati cards and drivers. Not that it won't be workable but may need newer or older drivers. Depends on how new your card is. I once had older card that worked worse wit hnewer drivers, after going back to slightly older drivers it was better. Maybe becasue of former older windows version or pc system. Also, you may have to be sure some things are on or off, as mentioned in readme, for opengl things like anisotropic filtering and other things unfamiliar to me. Just read or print file carefully.Goodluck.

for those of u wondering of your pc abilities with BFV, results for me with high speed cable in armory nam with about 13 /side are :amd pc2 no chop, except for the choppers i could not fly, lol.intel p4 pc1 got little bit choppy , which may have been busy router with both pcs, so lowering vid to low from med stopped chop.See above for pcs details.Salute

no problemos yet.pc1=1.5 p4/512 cache/512 ram/128mb gfxfx=high sound/med video 800 x 32.pc2=1.3 amd(p4)/same above but 64 mb gf2=high sound/low vid 800x16.no choppiness in pc2 with 8+7 ai's... yet to see how it does with same or more armory players ... was fine with 4 stealing each others flags and running back and forth to get them back

i prefer steam mostly as arty works, or is it just that that the armory somwhow fixed this 2.8 won bug ?

"thank, i needed that" ... laughs i mean from some wisecracks i haven't had much free time for play but managed to test slower of 2 pcs in armory server yesterday for about 15 mins. not much of a test yet for it's 1.3 amd/64 mb g2/512 ram , as there were only 4 of us in there.it runs fine in single player with 8+7 ai's so should be good to go with good sized online teams. time will tell. otherwise i'll have to consider another 128 mb gf.o ya, i have much to learn about the games choices/etc ... but liked it very much, especially going with the m60/m79 combo ... my faves :wink: and being able to jump out of sight of enemy tank on steep hill only to pop back up and blast it's bottom rear with m79

sorry to hear that. but i don't think we should help you get in more troulbe by going against your dad's orders, soldier :wink:

becasue you said middle of game or loading next map, i don't suspect driver prob ... instead i suspect swap has used up free hd or ram or vid ram space.

assuming firewall or router not blocking your attempts, i'd try deleting blob file ... and make sure ifs*.dll i think it was, is there, otherwise copy it from sieera\fa folder to steam fa folder.
