I finally got Battlefield 3 (thanks, humble bundle!), and thought "I haven't played with TA in a long time. Let's go for it!" Forty five minutes later -- after wrestling with punkbuster, lowering every video setting all the way down, and kicking my computer a few times -- I finally cave and admit: My computer just can't play Battlefield 3. Sigh. I guess it'll be another decade before I can come back and join the fun.

(Also, nice to see the same people runnin' the show around here. One day, I'll decide to buy whatever game y'all're playing at the time, and I'll be able to play more often!)

Not often, but I do. I've moved on to other things, mostly. I still play, I just don't create from scratch anymore. Also: EGIDIO!

I haven't been playing recently because I went back to school, took a couple of classes. Took my finals, and a state-sponsored test or two. My name is now officially: Klifton Matthias Rhodes, EMT. (of course, I would never actually write my name out like that. i'm not that guy!) Hooray Me. Now, maybe I'll have enough time to play CoD4 with some of you!

this time, I uninstalled and deleted every trace of COD4, restarted twice, ran CCLeaner on my registry, restarted twice, and then reinstalled CoD4. works perfectly. ggz

I woke up at 5.38am yesterday morning, and I was shaking a little. In my groggy state, I thought to myself: "Gee. This is odd. ... Oh well." and went back to sleep. I'm actually jealous of wifey, 'cuz she was wide awake and at work for the whole thing -- I want to feel it! I'm hoping for an aftershock.

i did not! good idea. just in the Program Files stash, or should I kill stuff from anywhere else? (Registry, windows data folder, etc)

Any time I play a mod, or any time I play a custom map, my CoD4 will first download all the necessary files, try to load, and then crash. Black Screen. Then Desktop. Any pointers? Any forums i should ask this on? Thanks.

i change it up often, so i'm unsure of what i currently have. I do know, however, that all five of my kits have an m4 -- and one also has a sniper rifle.

I despise the Battlefield Engine. but I will try it when it comes 'round. No, Menc', it's nothing like TF2. The only similarity -- the ONLY similarity! -- is that they both contain cel-shaded graphics.

Also, for your movie and music needs, check out your library. Seriously, these days they're incredible!
