For anyone that hasn't played on this guy's squad, I highly recommend it - although I have to warn you that the language is at least PG-13 if not R sometimes. He's really serious about winning and caps flags like a madman. And he's got a great New York accent. "Hit the beacon man, Hit the beacon!" "Where's my backup?!?" Sometimes it's hard to concentrate because you're laughing so hard.

I used Gambricon back when I was mudding a long time ago - when those old school modems could only handle text and color text was considered pretty fancy. I used some other names when I was using tintin++ or some other client to play multiple characters - beep, bonk, smorfus. I can't remember the others....

Once in awhile can be entertaining. It helps if you know one or two of the squad leaders because you can still talk to them using 'b' and then you can preferentially give them the UAV's, supplies and stuff. But you're right, most of the time nobody accepts your commands but will start a mutiny for no reason. I'd much rather be on the ground shooting at stuff .

i'd like to get both although i always want to buy every game but obviously don't have the time to play them all. anyone getting Quake Wars? That seems like a popular soon-to-be-released fps too. It looks like TGL is actually signing up teams for a 5v5 league already! I'd like to get us in that if we have enough people that are going to play.

Yes, I agree. It was totally an exploit and it seemed like they weren't acknowledging it for awhile because they didn't have a fix for it. I'm sure this will get rid of people podding from harbor to EU base and the like. I hope it gets rid of the roof campers too!

This may be a tough one for us. Sometimes it's hard for us to get 8 people for the 8v8's because of schedules, commitments, etc. But thanks for the invite!

Hey there... Not sure what your first question is - i think you left out a word?!? As for the gunship/battle heli - just practice practice practice. if you're having a hard time picking one up because someone else keeps taking it, try joining a server with fewer people so you have a better chance at getting in one. I personally suck at flying but maybe someone else here can help you... As for 8000 guys, if you play long enough, you can do anything! take phrogg for example - he's got 12799 kills with his sword.

not sure yet. going to see what everyone else thinks of it. i tried playing one of the cod series on the wii and i can tell you that i prefer pc MUCH better than console.

wow, now i'm definitely not getting it. I used to only play RTS too - warcraft, starcraft, age of empires. i'll probably take a look at starcraft 2 - when was the last bad blizzard game?!?
