I guess bandolier gives you extra ammo? I haven't unlocked that yet so that is why I am asking.

This thread has to be old as CoD4 is not in poll. I have found CoD4 to play MUCH better then either BF2 or BF2142. The maps load faster, the play is faster, and I can actually win every now and then. Also the spawning system works quite well and keeps the spawn killing down to a minimum.

And I am saying I formed my opinion from watching games. But I have to admit that he wins games. Maybe I have formed an opinion that is not based on facts. I will shut up and watch New England roll over the Giants on Sunday.

I will defer to your superior wisdom in this matter. I am not totally convinced but you could be right.

I admire the way Tom Brady plays. He, like Peyton Manning, puts a lot of effort into preparing for each game. He is an excellent QB and doesn't show off or toot his own horn as some do. I also think like Madden, it is up to the defense to keep the offense from scoring. Tampa Bay had Indy down by 24 points midway through the fourth quarter several years ago and Indy beat them. However the coach is another story. His opinion seems to be that with his coaching any group of players can win. I just don't like him. I am sure he loses sleep over my opinion. Not a media opinion but mine. I listen to commentators at times but I have noticed that they seem to miss as much as they hit. So far I have seen nothing on the Super Bowl. I am planning to turn it on on Sunday at 6PM.

Take away Tom Brady and I would like to see that smug coach get a win. He thinks he is the smartest coach in the NFL but he is lucky to have a great quarterback who could win with ANY coach. Pats will win but I will root for NY.

I wish you could disable killcam. I get tired of continuously hitting F to spawn. Maybe if I was better I wouldn't be as irritated or see it as often.

The first thing I thought of was what kind of gas mileage does this thing get? I like the the earlier version getting 200+ MPG. Kinda like a six shooter that is shot continuously by the good guy for fifteen minutes and never reloaded.

I went into BF2 today and none of the medals I received while on that server are on my stats. I guess EA knew the server wasn't really ranked.......

I have on my filters for servers to just show ranked servers. However I got on a server that had the equipment from the carrier around the Chinese middle base. Also we got flag capture points for both neutralizing flags and taking flags. And to top it off I must have received five awards. I didn't think that maps and games could be modified like that and still be ranked. (I hope no one minds me asking these questions. I figure that starting threads is good for the forum and gives me knowledge from those of you who know the answers.)

Thanks. This was the first time I had been switched while in a squad, squad leader to be exact. I wish it would warn you when it does it. It sometimes takes me a while to realize that I have been switched.

I was playing BF2 as a squad leader when I was switched to the other side by the server. I thought I read here on this forum that you wouldn't be switched if you were a member of a squad. Any ideas why I was changed to the other side? (I was neither great or bad at that time.)

To me the game would be more enjoyable if we had a separate switch for planes/helos. That way we could drop the "every time I get into a tank, I am instantly killed" problem. It seems in most games all the good flyers are on one side and the other can't defend. Either that or give us a antiaircraft gun in BF2. BF2142 does not seem to have this problem as bad.

When you say yes (1) to no vehicles does that apply to rubber boats and airplanes? I am sure I could figure this out on my own but I see we don't do may threads and I think we need something to talk about.

And after the fires, it will rain and they will have mud slides because of no vegetation to hold the soil. Same cycle as a few years ago.

Actually it was a joke I was referring to. A counterfeiter made a mistake and made eighteen dollar bills instead of twenty's. He thought he would go into the country because those people were too dumb to know that the bills weren't genuine. So he went into a country store and asked for change for his eighteen dollar bill. The store owner said: "Sure, do you want three sixes or two nines?". A million dollar bill is something else tho......

I knew I wasn't going to hit him/her, I shot out of desperation. It was definitely way over their head. There was nothing behind him/her for a long way. Usually you can tell lag but the game seemed to be running well.

Since I seem to be the only one who starts new threads: here is my newest question. When I play BF2 with the tank I try to shot the other player with the main gun by placing the cross hairs on or below the person to kill him or her. However on Saturday I could not depress the main gun low enough to shot an assault soldier coming at my tank so I shot anyway and blew him/her away. The cross hairs were not close but over their head but he blew up into the air as if I had hit him/her. Why? The shock of the shell?
