Does that mean that you don't work to see your team win?

I don't think that is the point. Knifing someone after you have used up your ammo is one thing but going around with a knife out all the time for knife kills is something else. The object is supposed to be to help your team win.

I think we get tired of knifers running around just interested in the next knife kill. I could see that happening in a modern army. We are encourged to join squads but knifers take lone wolfing to a new level. They aren't even interested in whether their TEAM does well. Just so that they get another knife kill........ :thumbsup:

I don't like to kill teammates so I get killed every now and then by enemies. I have no method that works every time. I like the running toward you thing but that is me half the time.......

I really liked the video. I get the idea that this person was not too popular on a knife only server....

How about the idea of each play glowing red or blue depending on what side they are on?

Oh I guess you are right about that. How about a five map rotation where you play as PAC and then the same five maps where you play as EU?

Maybe I am just stupid but I wish it would leave you on one side for a while. I find myself forgetting which side I am on during a game and sometimes end up killing a teammate. In real life you wouldn't switch sides after each mission. If it would let me stay on the Pac or EU side for several games before changing it maybe I would be better. (Hope springs eternal.) Even better would be a faint red or blue glow around the player at all times. If mines and such can tell enemy from friends then I don't see why my hud couldn't place colors on the enemy and friends.

I am sure it is, I just like to play a satisfying game where we don't lose to begin with because everyone is trying to knife everyone else at the expense of spawn points.

One of the things that gets me about knifers is that they do not care about the spawn points. Mainly they want knife kills and do not try to get flags. I have been on the losing side several times with a bunch of knifers that allowed us to lose all our spawn points. I am sure you guys don't do this but it makes the play difficult if you are the only one worrying about spawn points.

I guess that includes me also. You will find mine hard to get just because I am not on that much. Saturday night is the only time I play 2142 and I could be on any server. I will have to add you to my buddy list so I will know where you are.

My only problem is making sure that those little "friends" all hit the bobbing knifer coming at me before he/she can get close.......

I ask a lot of questions and sometimes forget to give important details. I feel that you have to be good to people because it comes around sooner or later.

Paranoid is what I am. I asked the question while also participating in another thread about knifing. How come when I am looking no one comes but turn your back and......knifed again?

Years ago I had an operator that was polish. He was a good operator most of the time but called me one Saturday afternoon with a fifteen error. I told him that the System 34 did not have fifteen errors. After twenty minutes of getting nowhere, he counted for me, ten, eleven, twelve, fifteen...... I told him we called that thirteen in this country...... I will check my settings.

Seems like a lot of tags, I need to try your method instead of standing there trying to reload and......knifed again.

How do you do quotes? Maybe I am dense but I see the option but have no idea how to get it to work. I am sure that several of you will be more then happy to enlighten me (or is that knife me?)........

I have zero. I have enough trouble killing with a gun. I never even think of using the knife. Congrats on the 37, is one mine?

Even with no life at home, it still takes a while to send 7000. Maybe he has a program that makes them up and sends them automatically........

I have to admit there is a certain pleasure to have someone come at you with a knife and blowing him away with a machinegun. Hope I see you with a full clip before you see me with a knife........

That doesn't sound right: hearing voices.......

It seemed that to begin with I heard voices all the time. Is the requirement for the server to use the primary IP new? I agree that voice chatting has dropped to nothing on all servers.
