Yeah for sure. I wish they had squads and VOIP like BF, I guess we'll be using vent a lot for COD4. Maybe we should have seperate vent channels for each team and then maybe a lounge? I don't like people on other team listening when we're trying to be sneaky. Just a thought.

I'm so sick of ppl running these scams stealing money from those who make an honest living.

I always get jealous when a friend has a better PC than I do, I wanna go quad so bad but I'm gonna wait for the 45nm processors to come out.

I hate how the rounds are so short. It usually takes me a few mins to get in the groove after a map change, with the short rounds I don't have time to get my focus. It is absolutely crazy, that one super small map with all the crates is nuts, it sucks if you're on a bad team because it can be spawn kill central.

I haven't had any problems with COD4 under Vista, no disconnections and the game runs super smooth, I do have 4gb of ram and that makes a huge difference with newer games. Have you tweaked your system at all JPenn? When things get choppy take a look at your hard drive light, if it's blinking a lot thats causing the lag. I've found disabling file indexing helps a ton with this problem. Open My Computer, right click on your C:, select properties, then uncheck "Index this drive for faster searching", if you get any errors select "Ignore All". Do this for all the partitions on your system. Also, disabling unneeded services helps as well. Check out this link: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=ST&f=67&t=87443 Make sure you export your service list to a text file before you touch anything, that way you can go back to the original settings if things start running weird, it took me awhile to figure out what I could disable and what I couldn't. To export the service list goto Control Panel>Admin Tools>double click on services, click on the Action menu and click "Export to file" Tweaking helps a ton with gaming, it takes a bit of trial and error to get things running the way you want but it's worth it in the long run.

I'm glad, the higher fossil fuel prices will force us to develop green energy. The only reason we've continued to use oil is because it's cheaper than other forms of energy like hydrogen fuel cells, eventually green energy will cost less.

I've never had a problem getting PC games on the day of release at computer stores or Walmart, the console games are the hard ones to get around here. I guess I'll show up early at Walmart tonight just to be sure, I'm stoked for COD4 and I wanna play tonight.

Too bad you didn't have a voss, I was at Microcenter one day and I saw a couple teens stealing RAM, I told the people at the front desk and they got busted, I felt kinda bad but they shouldn't be stealing!

I always liked that feature of the battlefield series. In BF1942 they had all the big battles and the layouts were spot on, I wish they would create a new BF based on WW2. The 1942 games were a lot more fun because it was more shooting and less rockets/grenades and no revives, flying was a blast and even the naval warfare was fun if you had patience. There are too many lame ways to die in 2142 which allows the noobs to do well.

I just can't get into it, too cartoonish for me and I hate the aim.

I can't play any FPS in single player mode anymore, multi player is the only thing that matters.
