PC games are the only way to go, console games bore me these days.

Once they get a bunch of users signed up it will slow down, the current satellite internet systems used to be faster than roadrunner but they decided to slow it down so they could support more users. I'm sure it will be very fast once they get a bunch of satellites up there. I wonder how much its going to cost?

Do we have a league match tonight? It's usually Monday at 9:30 but I haven't heard anything all weekend about it.

Shadow killed you 87,000 times, I killed Shadow 100,000 times, aiming for the head is key. It's a great game but we need more people playing to get our server popular. For those who love BF because of teamwork and the real battle feel you will love this game, I believe team work is more important in this game and theres a lot more to it then just capping spawns. You don't need to be a good shooter to score high points, most of the time you don't even get a point for a killls. It takes about a week to figure out but once you know what you're doing it's a blast, we'll teach you everything you need to know. The game is like 20 bucks, it's so worth it. We had our server full for 4-5 hours last night and it was a blast, pretty much everyone was talking and we had some really good games.

I was just pointing out a slower Alienware is $1,500 less, I'm sure if they had a QX9650 780i it would be around the same price, I wasn't trying to slam you at all. If I had to choose between Alienware and one of your systems with the same specs I'd choose you, I like how clean your cases look and in my experience customer support is better with smaller companies vs huge ones. Gaming and Laptop do not belong in the same sentence unless you are talking about Solitaire.

An Alienware liquid cooled Tri-Ultra QX6850 with the same specs was $6,500, the Puget Deluge-i L3 has an QX9650 and is $1,500 more. I like to build my own PC's so I would never buy a complete system from any store, some people don't have the time or don't know how to build, if they have cash like that to spend on a PC someones gonna sell em it. $200 means nothing if you're spending 8k.

I saw that but I can't login. When I try to connect direct it says "The Server is not authenticated, Please try to connect later." It doesn't show up on the server list either.

I cannot find it on my list nor log in direct.

Quake Wars! As far as battlefield, I'd go with 2142. I just like the concept of the game. BF1942 is my all time favorite game. Quake Wars is my game now and the Armory server is doing well, COD4 is kinda boring compared to Quake, team play and communication is key just like 2142. The first week you will be a noob but once you figure everything out it's awsome.

I would've let you know beforehand but there was no release date for the patch. It sucks our provider has such bad service, I don't know whats so hard about uploading files.

Did anyone patch our Quake server? We haven't been able to get on it since the patch was released.

When are you gonna get a desktop so you can play real games Travis? You will love Quake, I hear it runs real well under Linux.

The long awaited 1.4 patch was released today, lets hope they fixed the lag problem all servers seem to have. I updated through the game so I don't have a link to download it directly.

I would play BF2 more if I had people to play with. Get Quake Wars! Our Quake server is doing so well because the game is awesome, blows COD4 away in online play.

I bought Quake Wars a few days after it came out and never really got into it, I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing. About a week ago I saw Grim, Gamb, Gadfry, and Shadow playing so I decided to join in, I've been hooked ever since. It's team oriented and I like how the missions are set up, it's more then capping flags. For those who love working as a team and communicating buy it, let's make our QW server popular like our BF2142 server was.

2142 is boring because no one really plays anymore.

If BF 2 runs BF 2142 should be ok. I haven't been able to play BF2 or 2142 under Vista since I bought my Creative Xtreme Gamer, now I crash after a few seconds of game play. I tried for weeks to fix it but no luck, I setup up dual boot and now everything is gravy. BF is the only game I play under XP. I take it your laptop doesn't have XP drivers Travis? What drivers did you need and what error did you get? XP would probably help with gaming quite a bit, maybe you should give it another shot unless a desktop is coming soon.
