lol I know eh, I posted this same thread lolWell lately Ive been tryin to fly this darned thing.I use the defaults for the flying.So what I do is I first accelerate *it goes flying up* then Ive tried all of the other buttons, Up, down, left, and right. but the Up and down just make the heli fly backwards.. and when you're flying, how can you shoot at the same time with both of ur hands at the keyboard.Rippermy vsync is Off.I fixed my refreshrate already.My computer settings shows it at 16bit.The graphics in the game setting is all set to the lowest point, like I said before.Defragging takes about 3-4 hours so I might do it later..I still have no clue on which Sound Card update to get.I have a GeForce 4 MX 440,pentium 3,500mhz,I did, just right after I posted before. But one question.. I have 'SB Live!' and don't know which file(s) I would need to get it updated and set up. the site is: http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/download.asp I know this is prolly normal for everyone who plays but it takes me 10 minutes to load the map, and then when im in the game starting to play, it takes my computer another 10 minutes until the game gets smoothed out.. before that, its VERY slow for me, then after that, I get better.I did all the tweaks that was told to me. The overclocking the comp, since XP's default was 60, I changed it to 85, I turned the stuff that I didnt need OFF.I put the options for BF1942 to the LOWEST degree possible.. I dont see whats the problem. when im on a boat, it goes as slow as hell, when I tried typing stuff, I needed to wait atleast 5 seconds for the letters to show up or else I would get these different letters that I typed in which half didn't even show because of the slow game. the game Call of Duty works PERFECTLY, I dont know why BF1942 isnt. maybe its because of the huge arse maps and my comp cant handle it or something.. I doubt it.great story man, took a bit for me to read.. but very coolI actually dont know why they are playing DC now.. So I dled the NVRefreshTool and fixed my refresh rate on XP because it defaults it on 60. I went up to 90, got a good improvement, so I figured, why not flick it up a bit to 105? So I did, I restarted the comp and thats when I had trouble.I switched it down to 85 where it is steady and doesn't overload the comp.I was just getting this error for when I tried starting up my FA. I loaded FA up.. then heard my music, then I got this message. I restarted Steam and tried again with Hostile Intent this time. Got the same message look-a-like.. What's wrong with this? =/ I want to play!Yeah, I found it right after I posted my last post here.
