Looks like from the list a LOT of BF4 features are being rolled into the game. Ribbons being one which I assume is a push towards the ribbons/medals used in BF4 that didn't detract so much from team play Lots of good stuff in here. Also as said above It seems unless there are issues a good bit of this stuff is to be rolled into the coming feb update/march DLC update. Im guessing I gotta get used to BF1 again! Yes I'm happy.

Providing its solid will be pushed to servers hopefully with DLC patch but could be in a later patch. Lots of good things in here. Well since we all know that the server browser is kind of jacked up at the moment.... RevOverDrive and MadTrunip over on the Battlefield forums have been working on this for a bit. Ive offered a little insight as well and given some input on this and its turned out quite nicely. Posting a link to it here and when / if we decide to grab some hosted servers again we can register them here as well. Gator thought you may want to register on the site since you are the clan head and would probably be the one to register any servers we get. Im all for infantry servers. used to be my bread and butter. The only vehicles we spawned on the one I was admin on were the light transport vehicles ie the buggies and the quads. Honestly I'm really hoping they get the RSP in BF1 fixed because a back to basics mode server would be awesome. For those not aware of this mode here is a brief description. So basicly only weapons specific to your faction ie SMLE rifles for Englishm G. M95 for Germans etc.Makes medics doing their job as well as support much more important as well as encourages a more gritty up front and in your face combat eliminating all but the most skilled scouts doing anything other than hill humping as hey it's all iron sights.

Honestly I haven't seen that much calling out folks or anything other than some good natured shit talking. I may not be paying close enough attention. Yeah some folks hack you off a bit but who doesn't get torqued after the 2 or 3 or 10th face blasting. The clan can count on my donation towards whatever they deem the appropriate action. I will say however that not having to deal with Douchenozzle radio , ie the in game chat, in BF1 has been refreshing.

You know your main board may be giving up the ghost. I've seen Capacitors swell and lose efficiency with age and being an onboard NIC that could be part of the problem. How old is your board? Sorry for so many questions but its really hard to diagnose weird crap without having the system in front of ya

I have the same provider as you and never drop connection unless the router craps out or there is an outage. If you laptop and or other devices dont do it just your PC then it's not the router/modem. Now for the truly horrifying question.... How long has it been since you did a fresh install? Also have you tried uninstalling all the network drivers and then re-detecting them and reloading with fresh drivers? I know you said you were at the latest build but did you remove the devices and drivers and then reload them?

Most look like fun but we shall see. New Army: French. now with the army skill: Surrender. New Melee weapon: Sale French Bread loaf. (Ok not so much but hey had to) New game mode: Conquest meets Rush and Chainlink. seems weird but could be fun. New Tank: St Chamond with a big ass gun and heavily armed. New Behemoth: Uber Tank New Stationary Weapon: HOWITZER!!! Nuff said! Works like a mortar in a vehicle. We shall see. No info release on RSP servers.... I dont see this as a good sign. As I've stated I hope its because they see the servers as a separate product but come the March patch if the servers have not been significantly fixed I think I'm probably done with BF1. Hate to say that because i truly like the game but the cheaters and douchenozzles on the pub servers have gotten to a level I just dont want anything to do with pub servers anymore. Here's hoping for the best.

Amazon dawg! Ahh yeah if the WiFi card did the same thing dont waste the money on a NIC as it will fail as well. Iz who is your internet provider? I have a theory but need to know who your provider is.

Look and see if you have something similar to this with more settings: I would try and disable all power saving options as it sounds like its doing something similar to my workstations are doing. The only fix so far is to turn off all power saving options and poof never looses connection again. Worth a try. Also you could try the add on nic card. They are usually able to be had for 15 bucks or so. Funny thing is ive been doing this long enough to remember 400 dollar NICs

First have you updated your drivers? I would use the manufacturers drivers and update to the latest driver set. I would suggest NOT using the windows drivers as they frequently are not the latest out there. You may want to check the firmware on your main board as well.If you need a driver update I would uninstall the drivers already installed before loading the new driver set. Also turn off ALL power management for the NIC if there are any. We have had an issue with workstations at the plant dropping from 1000 mbps to 100 then to 10 then 0 every time the monitor goes to sleep. Known bug with certain intel based NICs. Worst case you could hit a best buy and buy an add on nic and load that up for cheap and see if the problem still occurs. Also post any errors in the event log you may have under the system tab. That will help a lot.

Hearing a lot of good feedback on this. Think I'm gonna give it a try no a10 hunters , Hellriegel's, BARs. No tanks, planes or arty trucks just light transport vehicles, and infantry using bolt action rifles w/ iron sights. side arms nades etc . From what im hearing it changes the whole pace of the game and requires squad teamwork and playing the objective a LOT more. I will report back on this experience.

Waiting for rentable servers that are worth a flip more like it.
