As much as I love the Battlefield franchise it is painful to even think about trying to find another shooter to play. I love BF1 but cripes they are killing the longevity of the game by taking so long to get servers up and running.

Long story short nothing has changed. Played last night with Axle and the fellahs. Still 200%. Still getting sniped from 20 different directions. Even being sniped and one shot with medic rifles. Still great fun though. We dominated our side as usual. Effin casual pubbies. Will get in depth review once I see a 125% game.

You can look at him and tell he's a kid man. He's one of the console generation that doesn't get that every console on the planet has its roots in PC gaming. I honestly think he's a goder and not a gamer. Oh he may play games but I don't see him having the time to game like we do. He's a casual. Which is why he's catering to casuals.

I was pinged by a guy on Reddit today and he says the 125% in HC mode adds about a shot to most weps but most sniper rifles as still oneshots on any hit. If so thats sad. Will try it after I patch tonight.

Patches, Will do a review of HC after today's patch and update on what I find. Honestly I can play either way but the game itself is pretty solid and there are a lot of things I dig about it. They far outweigh the things I dislike. I agree that repair should not be able to be done in the vehicle and there shouldn't be a quick repair. It does promote teamwork to take down a heavy tank but after looking at the notes they are making the landship better and nerfing the heavy so maybe those will both be doable unless you get a really skilled tanker and then you will need to team up on it. IMHO its a lot of small things a goodly many of them addressed in this patch so we will see tonight.

The damage reduction in this patch should put snipers back where they should be. Like I said I still need to test it but should be a one shot to head / center mass and 2 anywhere else. That is where BF4 was so hopefully well see. Also there is much LMG love in this patch as well as nerfs to shottys. Im thinking well see pretty different gameplay tonight.

This gives me hope that they are indeed looking at the RSP as a separate product , well it is really, and not including Server fixes /feature additions in these notes. That does though make me wonder WTF and when they plan on adding this stuff.

I got the pass already not sure how you are not seeing it as not released yet. Hell I only have the Early Enlistees version as I preorderd the day I say you guys put up a banner about having a BF1 server ;P

After crunching some numbers. 125% is spot on if not a hair off of BF4 kill req. Granted this is all on paper and I have to play it after the patch but I hope so.

I actually crunched some numbers after reading the patch notes, hadn't had time to post here though, and from what I'm coming up with the damage reduction on weapons puts HC in BF1 on par with BF4 as far as actual kills etc. They also are saying the aiming with mortars is going to be fixed in the new patch. Other than that the only issue I have at this time with HC is the friendly/enemy flagging and TKs. It forces a slower pace in game and TKs come into effect as flagging currently doesn't work in vehicles like tanks etc. I'm gonna have to play a round or two once the patch drops but the only thing else I see that wasn't mentioned is kill logging I don't want to see where they were I just want to see who killed me. That's all

Oh thank you Jesus. Hopefully this will work as intended. Way to many weapons are OP when 200% was applied. I see this making HC more fun and reducing team kills a bit as you can actually hit someone once and not waste them.

You bastard!!! I was just about to post that hahaha. Im not seeing any RSP info . This isn't good.

I do like hardcore over the softcore mode I just really dislike the way they implemented it in BF1. Their current solution of 200% bullet damage instead of decreasing player health turns half the weapons in the game into way over powered cannons. Forget sniper rifles, I can shoot you in the foot and its a 1 hit kill from anywhere. That's just wrong. Im hoping that they make significant changes to it like fixing the mortars, adding variables so that they don't rely on 200% bullet damage, etc however I hope they do this in conjunction with giving admin tools or shortly after. Those are needed far more because looking at the numbers for BF1 it is sadly sliding down and Im not sure that the game will last as BF4 did if they don't do something quickly. Im loving the game but the asshats we have to deal with make me want to just watch the TV sometimes.

As far as the actual patch goes we will all get it on the 13th you just cant access the new map, If you don't have a season pass till the 20th. Just like before.
