Just venting, plz feel free to agree or disagree: Bunnyhopping in BF2 plus insta-prone-fire = SCREAMS OF RAGE!!!!! The above + short range grenade launcher *****s = MORE SCREAMS OF RAGE!!!!! These people who discharge the 203/gp30 and point blank range without taking any damage really get on my nervers. Not only are the explosives not even armed for the first 100 revolutions of the shell in the real launchers, but the deadly radius of the weapon is 5 meters with a severe injury radius of 15 meters. I hope they fix this soon, because launcher *****s are becoming prevalent and it is really starting to ruin the fun :peace:

sigh, ok here it goes: In an attempt to fix an issue where my game takes 5+ minutes to "verify client data" after connecting to a server, I reinstalled the game and patched it (manually, using cmd). Now, everytime I try and connect, it still hangs at verifying client data, but then it kicks me back to the browser saying that I need to remove my modified content and revert to the latest official version. WTH, I thought 1.02 was the latest? The only current version server filter says I am up to date. Help

i had to do this as well. Now, to top it all off, it takes me 5+ minutes to join a game. It just sits at verifying client data

I woke up to the news this morning and was quite ecstatic. When it comes to space, only the Russians can compare to our gung-ho, balls to the wall attitude. Next stop, the moon.... again! Godspeed guys

thank god, I was worried I would lose my stats, etc. I sent an email to tech support asking if they would blank my unlocks

Every server, the weps are unlocked. Im upset because I dont want to be banned from servers or have my acct deleted. That would suck, big time

Ok guys, I have all the BF2 unlocks, not good. I didnt earn them. I went on this RANKED server, and BAM! all the weapons were unlocked. I tried other servers, logged out and back on, restarted the game, nothing. Now I have all the weapons and I am worried I will be banned as a cheater. A couple other people had this happen to them as well, does anyone have a fix? I am about to call EA and see if they can modify my account to remove the unlocks.

i think asking for admin delays any possible appointment. Heck, took me near 3 years to get it, and i didnt say a word. 3. Members will not ask to be an Admin on the server. Admins are hand-picked and solicited by Senior Counsel leadership based on a their maturity and conduct while on the server. I know gopats just restated it, but Im not sure how many times it has to be said, so I will state in a more readable format for those with poor eyesight: DONT ASK TO BE ADMIN, IT IS COUNTERPRODUCTIVE TO YOUR CHANCES OF ACTUALLY BEING SELECTED other than that, welcome back SSM! some of those numbers are a bit unrealistic

The new patch has decided it doesnt want to work on my primary computer right now (a mobile workstation laptop), in fact it totally FUBARS things everytime I try to install it, forcing a hard reboot. Right now my LAN party pc is still only semi functioning, so it will be a couple weeks till it is up and running. I have one more idea, if it doesnt work, Im out for a while. Man, how can people capable of making such an awesome game, suck so bad as well

Yeah, MS system restore is actually a very very useful feature. Everyone gives MS so much crap over their big stuff that they always miss the cool little programs they make as well. System restore has saved my life as well, a couple times in fact

Im surprised no one has posted about this, and maybe I am being extra toolish by doing so, but I loved the new Harry Potter book. I thought the romance was a bit forced, but otherwise her finest book yet. Flame Away, but man that was a good read, I almost regret reading it in under 9 hours

you know there is a problem when servers start kicking and banning for punishing TK's and initiating mutinies against crappy commanderts. Let alone, for TK's that were clearly someone elses fault. Lets see: I have been threatened with a ban for punishing a guy who had the team swap bug and decided to kill me even after i shouted over and over again to stop firing, even though I had already forgiven him and others twice before. He then insisted that it was I who had the bug and that I needed to log, even though everything was fine for me. Just yesterday I was banned for trying to get rid of our commander who was god awful, in fact all he did was fly around in a plane without doing his duty at all. Dont even get me started on BS TK's. I feel your pain Sharp, I really really do :o

i cant stand people who insist on flying on ranked servers, even when they have NO idea how to. Otherwise, quite funny :o

I consume on average, 30-60 oz of diet soda every two days, usually more, but occassionally i go without soda for a day or two and that ruins the trend. Today I have already had over 60 oz. mmmmhhhhh, Splenda-licious. The caffeine helps too

I've logged over 50 hours of play time, and have won a medal in probably half or more of the games I have played, and I am still only at the 6000 point. Its a long haul klink, I believe someone on another forums said that it is actually impossible to earn the last rank assuming 100 pts and hour, so I am thinking DICE might revise the pt system at some point.

best way to get the most points quick, for yourself and your whole team: load up 4 guys in a BH (the one non-gunner should be an engineer), and proceed to cap/pwn with the most ridiculously powerful weapon in the game: the minigun. If you can get two guys repairing the BH at once in flight, not even AT missles will bring you down. Best of all, just as with planes and armor, most people can't figure out that small arms wont hurt you!
