can someone tell me how to work the client, I would like to include some things on my website (yes I have one, but it sucks and is just kind of a self edification project more than anything)

heh, I know a friend who would have done many debauched things to see queensryche For me, the only concerts I would ever pay to see are: The Army Bands, The Boston Pops, and the British Army Regimental Band (i think thats what its called)

Maybe I missed it, but is the battlerecorder in the demo? Probably not, but I have to ask.

Why was the server size reduced? 64 players seemed fine
  10. When I see whole squad sized elements of infantry moving in support of each other with arty, smoke, and vehicle support on a regular basis I know this game has come close to perfection. The commo, spawn, and command system is beautiful. My only niggling issues are the spawn camping and the somewhat impotent ant-tank missles. It shouldnt take 5 missles to take out a tank. Other than that, BF2 is awesome
  11. If you ever go to Italy Mac, give me a call, I would love to go back again When my father was stationed in hawaii for 3 years, it was like being on a semi- permanent vacation. Your kids will love you forever if you take them there. Places to visit there: Hanauma bay Kolekole pass Kilaouea Caldera Volcano National Park Mauna Loa Waikeke Beach Diamond Head And dont forget to learn about the Hawaiian culture, its awesome
  12. im looking into an x300 or a 6600 gt if the x200 integrated doesnt cut it on my 939 system i am building. RIght now my laptop runs it fin with all settins at medium
  13. i concur witht the aiming thing, there have been a couple WTF moments for me as well, otherwise i loving it all
  14. So I am posting this off some "borrowed" wireless broadband from a vacation house in Delaware. It took quite a bit of wardriving and checking locations for best signal, but I finally got the BF2 demo by placing my laptop out in the drive way for 49 minutes. It was worth every minute. I am currently looking for a local, more consisten wifi location like starbucks to go and play online. ALthough is might do me well to practice up some more in single to get a better hang of things before I do. Just out of curiosity though, can we unlock the special weapons in the demo?
  15. servers are JAMMED. Good luck getting the files
  16. Move move move!!!! Execute execute execute
  17. close at hand could mean a couple days or more though : (
  18. im such a poser, but I still love dust. Compound would be up there if it weren't the worst implemented map EVER IN ANY GAME PERIOD. Its got a great concept, great visuals, a decent IDEA of a layout, but the actual execution.....

I love these threads. Can we just post the logs and establish the truth so we can lock this stupid thing
  20. yes, If you use a mouse that has a right mouse button you can right click and do something. However, we all know that if you bought a mouse other than the one that came with the mouse you would break the whole Apple aethetics and we cant have that now can we? After all, Function Follows Form in Appleland
  21. lol, probably not (I hear most P4's declock themselves by default because of poor stock 'sinks). Still, for me its not the technical aspects that make me giddy. I am so sick of Mac people being all aloof and condescending about their hardware. What good is a "super computer" proc if it overheats a water cooling system? What would be next, the Macintosh G6 with i-Phasechange cooling and a built in refridgerator for your cappuchinos? For me, its a purely moral victory.
  22. Apple is switching to Intel!!!!!! PC's won, woohoo! Now those snobbish, elitist Apple folk have to use the same processors as the rest of us "mere mortlas". Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it. Booyah!

I'm not much of a car person, but has anyone noticed that the new Dodge Charger looks a LOT like an 05 mustang with a weight problem? Tastes like ripoff to me. I use this as a segway into the real topic: Some of you may remember I said we were getting a new mustang about 2 months ago, well heres an update: Ford must not like money very much because 2 months later they still havent even built the darn thing. I understand there have been production problems, but the mustang isnt a specialty vehicle. You would think with so many people lining up to throw their cash at Ford in exchange for a new mustang they would shift into gear so to speak and get production rolling. We are expected to have a build date within the next couple weeks :/ yeah right. They have extended the 05 build dates into August, at this rate, we may get an 06' for no additional charge.
