Lay off em' Anyhoo, yeah, thats what we thought in regards to the number of atoms, but even after trying to take into account other things, the number didnt grow by that much (only a couple trillion trillions).

gist of the message: I got a nerd school, me being a big one, there are virtually no girls, and no social lives for non frat people/frat moochers, so we spend our time doing nerdy things. Last night we calculated that there are 10^68 atoms in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE

And we got into a discussion on numerical prefixes for computer storage like mega, giga, terra, etc. I said that the coolest one was exabyte, or roughly one quintillion bytes, i mean come on, exabyte sounds so much cooler than gigabyte or petabyte. So we proceded to figure out how to put gigabytes in terms of exabytes, since the term gigabyte usually come up on a day by day basis. So here we go, I shall hence forth refer to gigabytes as nano-exabytes. Saying, "yeah, my computer has over 60 nano-exabytes of storage" just sounds so much cooler and nerdier than "yeah, my computer has over 60 gigs of storage" Wouldnt you guys agree? Later, we got into a discussion about a Google (not the site, the number), 10^100, and a googleplex, 10 followed by a google 0's. We wanted to know if there were a googleplex or even a google atoms in the entire universe, so we did some calculations. They were pretty rough, but even when we inserted huge fudge factors, the number didnt even come close to a google. So, assuming almost 100% of matter is hydrogen, and not counting any other particles but those in atoms, there are approximately 10^68 atoms in the universe, give or take a couple trillion trillions. Doesnt sound like much does it?

yeah, plz explain to me how a DE does only 8 dmg with a HS. How do I know it was a HS? Simple, the head was the ONLY part of the body exposed and the blocking material could not be shot through. Again, its only after this latest update that I have noticed such a random distribution of whether or not shots hit or miss, AND how much damage they do. I cannot stress the asininity of some of the situations I have encountered. Its to the point where I cant use the DE (my ABSOLUTE favorite weapon) any more because less than half the shots in the mag will register at any given time. Heck, entire mags dont register at times.

I still cant figure out what the heck was up with Josh Hartnett's character. Was he just some random hitman meant to symbolize the violence or something

to be honest, your name doesnt seem to fit anyone of those sigs. Dont get me wrong, they are all sweet (especially the DE), but a name like Caste just doesnt seem to fit with them. A caste is a social order (eg the Indian caste system), is it not? Perhaps something playing off the warrior caste motif?

yeah, I used to be a big proponent of what Caste and Pat are saying, but there have been a number of times, only as of late I might add, that the situation has just been a little to fishy to call bad aim or improper use of weapons.

i have noticed people have been A LOT more civil as of late on the server, and for that I am thankful, but it is only a matter of time before another "you-know-who" or "you know who" pop up and the whole thing starts over again. CS is almost entirely populated by losers, its just a matter of time before they all start to move over to CSS, and then all the admins in the world wont be able to stem the tide of idiocy

Why? Because CSS is turning out to be just like CS, it will tear us all apart given the chance. There has been enough controversy already. I plan to play bf2 with TAC even if i hate it, if only to have a friendly atmosphere devoid of the ilk who play CS.

i have popped off shots at a stationary target, with a fully zeroed reticle and have watched as none of them registered. They would hit, as I wouldnt see any puffs of smoke, etc around the target, but they just wouldnt register
