OK, so you know how we (especially me) have been making all those jokes about rubber bullets, nerf bullets, firing blanks, etc. as of late, in reference to the seemingly impotent state of some our weapons. Well today I did an impromptu test. I was up in the tall tower in cobble, and i saw a bunch of debris, so i picked out a milk can, and fired an entire clip of DE into it from about2-3 feet. No way I could miss. What I saw, made me go AHA! Not one of those bullets touched the can, I coul see the bullet holes appear behind the can, but it did not move or anything. As I continued to play I noticed, as did others, that there really were some glaring occurences of "Holy Crap, only God himself could have made those bullets miss". One particularly nasty occurance happened to Kanevil tonight on Aztec. Down in the water he engaged me from no more than 20-25 feet with a SAW, 100 rounds later, I was still alive and able to cap him with my DE, though I had to reload a couple times (hmmmm...) It was pretty ludicrous, by all rights i should have been dead, but not one bullet touched me. Maybe Im just paranoid, but Im not the only person complaining of dissapearing bullets, and I think I have the proof.

Is it just me or are there like 4 maps on the cycle? All yesterday, the only maps i played were dust, aztec, italy, and contra. contra is an ok map but there are missing textures and we always lose players when it comes up. Any chance we could add more maps, and some better customs like McDonalds and alivemetal (The sweet wild west one).

Well, my dad ordered it, but Ford doesnt understand supply and demand, as in they cant keep pace with demand. It will be 4-12 weeks before delivery OR he might not even get it in 2005, he might as well get an 06'. A shame cause I really wanted to drive it when I got back. PS he got both the interior trim package and the changin guage cluster lights

Im pretty sure I will be able to drive it, unless he just wants to play a cruel game with me. Im a safe driver, Im absolutely paranoid about obeying alll the traffic laws, and I dont really speed. Guess thats half the fun of having a mustang though : /

Ok, so in a bizarre twist of fate, and an unusual shift in his normal fiscal attitude, my dad has decided to buy a brand new 05' Mustang. He has already picked out his model and it is on order: Coupe GT V8 Deluxe package(Automatic, mpg increase was negligible, and the car is still essentially a family car) Redfire Metallic exterior Black w/red accent leather bucket seat interior with aluminum highlights and all the other stuff that comes with a mustang (he did opt out of a higher end speaker system though) I dont know what suddenly made him do this, but at least I will have something fun to do when I come home for spring break and all my other friends are in school

our school requires we buy a high end laptop (this years model is the HP nw8000 workstation) with a Pentium M, its a pretty **** proc. If they made it for desktops they would seriously own AMD. Ours is 1.7 Ghz, I cant imagine the 2.0, it must be pretty sweet

I dont want to sound like sour grapes, because you are in fact living a dream, and I applaud you, but I respectfully disagree with your review (well written as it was, a rarity in gaming). blech, I was watching a friend, who happens to be a car nut, play GT 4, he didnt like it too much. Most of the "650 cars" were variants on crappy ricers and rallly cars. Also, frankly, the graphics blew. That rally game that was a launch title for Xbox looked so much better, even 3 years ago. This friend also said he wasnt too impressed with the physics, I would have to agree, seemed like he was doing a lot of fairly impossible things. Also, once again, no damage modeling. Forza motorsport is going to absolutely blow GT4 out of the water.

Man, at least he can post his photos, Im so un-photogenic, my pictures burst into flames when they are developed past the negatice stage. As for the robots, dont worry, ROTC has added a counter-ninja/Space-Robot curriculum. We will be learning proper throwing star/death ray dodgin techniques next month. We have allready been trained in how to properly ID a potential Space Robot replicant or ninja in disguise
