  1. It's about time.
  2. It happens so quick. I know I have run red light before on accident because I wasn't pay attention. It has only ever happened when no one was around, but it is scary all the same when I realized what I just did.
  3. I think the History's Mysteries Ancient Aliens video by the History Channel is very good. Brings up some very interesting points. I believe it.
  4. Well, I think there is fuss about the obvious priority given to consoles. I mean, at least they did a better job than Infinity Ward......
  5. Developers are lazy creatures. The migrate to easiest dollar they can get, but that is how most businesses work. It wouldn't make any sense to make a game PC exclusive anymore. Too much money in consoles. Well, at least the computer is supreme in the RTS department.

Platinum knife! Wow. I need to start using it more. I only have a platinum Heavy Vehicle.
  7. Baseraping is fine by me because I have found more often than not that it messes up the team that is raping. A few people get out and cap all the point, all of a sudden the raping team is surrounded and has to spawn back at their own base. It is just really annoying when the raping team is good at it.
  8. It took me a couple tries to figure it out too. They need to add some type of tone to let you know you are locked on. BTW, how is an RPG guided? Never heard of that before. Sounds like a little Bad Company BS to me.
  9. Play style is defiantly different. Snipers cover is exponentially more important. It is my preferred style of play. 32 player hardcore is great on larger maps. It gets a little crowded on White Pass, but it isn't unreasonable to get 40+ kills in a crazy game like that.
  10. I know I am relatively young, or at least I don't are to get any older, but I was around then. So young and so naive. It has been some good times. Glad to see it still kicking.
  11. When does it change over? NM, I see it.
  12. Change it to either one. I chose rush just because we already have conquest, but a separate hardcore conquest would be good too.
  13. I like it on when I am being sniped, but off when I am sniping. On or off, it is fair either way. I think a more important vote is for hardcore mode. :peace:
  14. They'll rip you off where ever you are. I'd be surprised if you even had a choice between carriers. BTW, I have a really good story dealing with Comcast internet. You don't have to read it if you don't want, but it is how you get things done if they start to rip you off. I attend Virginia Tech and have Comcast internet service. It would always get really slow and unresponsive about 9ish. My roommates and myself were getting really irritated and would call a technician out weekly just so he could take speed tests and make it know that there were problems. Well, we were told for months that they were doing upgrades and that they should take affect anytime. Lets just say it never got better. So, one night, one of my roommates decided to take the problem to the source. He looked up the CEO of Comcast, Brian Roberts, and found his number on WhitePages.com. It looked like it could just be a corporate number, address was 1 Comcast Ct or something like that, but he proceeded to call the number. A machine picked up asking who he would like to speak too, "Press 1 for Aileen, Press 2 for Brian, Press 3 for..." He hung up be because he didn't expect it to be a legit number. We looked up who Aileen was, well it is Brian's wife. So calling again he chose 2, and Brian picks up. Brian - "Who is this?" My roommate - "A very dissatisfied Comcast customer." Well, Brian tells my roommate that he would have his assistant call Matt shortly and that if he ever needed anything to call Brian's assistant. I swear to you, maybe it was coincidence, but in 30 min it was faster than it had ever been and within a week there were Comcast trucks pulling new cable all through the community I live it. Even a local technician called up my roommate and insulted him because "they had been doing upgrades and running new cable." Well, my roommate drives a bus down here, and he made sure to tell the disgruntled technician that he hadn't seen any work being done. Everything has been great since. It is going to suck when I have to move out of here this year.
  15. It really depends on the game and how well the view can relate to it. His part about bloom and the dust is spot on because I agree completely. But for someone that doesn't agree with it isn't going to find it humorous. I think the quality has gone down because some of it seems repetitive and he used to choose games that were easier to make fun of. Now he does a lot more new releases and all he has is how it is just a copy of some other game he has previously made fun of.
  16. Hopefully they take care of a good chunk of the issues.
  17. Thanks Gator! Was really making me mad.
  18. I am not sure I have ever been able to get any of these fancy sigs to work. I have sat here for the past hour looking at the source code from other's sigs and comparing it to mine. Anyway, how do you do it?
  19. I don't think these 3D televisions are going to catch on. Mainly because they aren't really 3D. There are television that don't need glasses, but you have to sit in a specific position for the images to hit the correct eyes. I read years ago about more of a holographic system. The star ways example is perfect. With the holographic system I read about showing NBA games in holograms. Still, the problem I have with this is that normally people are sitting down and watching television. So If anything it would have to be like sitting in a box seat and looking through a window (and how 3D is that, think of the window at the screen of the television). I am not sure how physically you should be viewing the image. Because I still like the fact that there are multiple cameras that are at different angles and I don't have to move a single muscle to watch a sports program.
  20. Anything that I don't need to wipe my hands off before I touch the keyboard again. Sooo, Doritos = Fail. Mainly I have something to drink....which also depends on the time of day.

I read that you can try this. - Unzip the file to your desktop,go to support/localization.ini and replace installvc8redist=1 with installvc8redist=0, it will NOT install the VC++ redist and thus will install. Update your vc++ manually if needed. If that doesn't work, maybe download the beta again?

Pretty good. Love the Enter Sandman. Virginia Tech Hokie here, we play it as our team runs onto the field every home game. Everyone in the stands is jumping to the beat, gets everyone really pumped. Can't wait for football to start again!
