If, and when ever, we get broadband I will want a wire network in my room. My Dad has a laptop in our living room, and he will want to get a wireless connection to his computer. So I will get one of those Linksys routers with both.What type did you get?

Well, The Armory isn't block at my school yet. Once in a while the techs will go one a "blocking spree", and set 5 new catagories and find specific web pages to block. It was a sad day when they blocked NewEgg.comEbay.com has been blocked, unblocked, blocked, and is currently unblocked. I think there is something fishy about this. This really sucks for my computer technician class. Earlier this year we needed to find information for hardware that was unlabled/generic. When more than half are blocked it is hard to find information. Let me just say, that class is really easy (need it, prerequisite to Cisco class).

My name was made by my Dad. I wanted my own e-mail account, so he suggested Luker. Then it happened to be taken and the next name was Luker3, so it stuck. Well, then that account got screwed up, so I changed it to Luker_3_, but I didn't want it that long for games like Starcraft, etc.Shotty, I remember that....That wasn't cool.

Oh yeah, Starcraft. That is an excellent game, but it is 2D. It is so much fun to play, some people are REALLY good at that game, it is insane. And it has good music!Blizzard, in general, is an awsome company. Some day they may come out with Starcraft 2...some day long, long from now.

WH4K: DoW is really good. I bought it for $55! Too bad I don't play it as near as much as I play good ol' Warcraft 3.

Do they have any in game screenshots? That has to be a big map, or everyone just filled it up like a concert.

Well, you could get one of your good Armory friends in the US to order you one, and they have it shipped to you house over there.

Some servers added Pong that you could play when you died. :DCS2, It is always hard for me to imagine what they could even do. All I can thing is better graphics, a TOTAL distructible enviroment (being able to knock whole walls down); and that stuff takes a lot. I usally like it when they add more guns, like add another 10 guns to it.

Yeah, they do bench higher than Intels, but I don't totally understand why, they aren't even running in 64-bit when you are using, well, anything.The reason the are faster is they have that on-chip FSB; and that runs pretty high.

Better netcode? Does that mean that I (56k guy) could play it online (mods or deathmatch if they make it)?I hopfully will get a wireless broadband from this one company soon, see how it goes. They say they are using 802.11b, but I KNOW that can go farther that 1000ft. On a map they have it say that I will get a good signal.Or I might just wait for WiMAX.

I would worry to much about it falling on me while I sleep. Plus, I don't have that type of money to take that chance. It seems like it would be hard to play with the keyboard on your lap, hands would be at a bad angle. I saw a chair in Popular Science once that was made for there positions. One of the positions evenly distributed your weight on your feet, knees, rear, and back, so that it didn't feel like you were sitting on anything. It was that comfortable. (Ok, it was much of a "chair" )

I don't like wireless mice. Mainly because I have had bad experences with them, and slamming them down onto you desk doesn't help...trust me. I had a GE, it ate batteries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The respones time can be less, and it can be hard to do small movements becuause it doesn't register right away.All I know is that I will be getting Logitech the next time I get a computer.

It is nice that it is one DVD, faster transfer, one thing to put in to install. But will this make it cheaper than 4CDs?(It probably does, but why should they reduced the price, besides being kind.)

Lets see. OMG, that was a long time ago. I started about 3 years ago. I was playing DC a lot, then Sam and I started downloading Half-Life mods (because we had All Seeing Eye and got interested). We kept playing DC for a bit, then a little WC3, ok alot , but eventully came back to FireArms and played it regulary.Or something like that, but it was awhile ago.

ugh «33.6k modem download speed Yours «37 down «18 up ugh «typical 56k modem download speed I acctually have a pretty solid connection. It may not be fast, but it is extremely reliable. I will have to wait till they get some last mile technology (WiMax, yeah sure that is what is gonna come out here, ) out here if I really want to compete with the big dogs.
