Ummm...the readme is kinda confusing. Do I put it were it says Mods or in the DC folder. How does just putting in make it work? I mean, I know that it would make me feel better if it had an install wizard or somthing. I don't understand how it is suposed to work, like if it is a mod for a mod then how does it detremine what the game is when you join?

It might only be XP, but if you host it somewhere that supports Bitmap. You can use Bitmap images as icon, you have to do "Show all files", bu it works. OR you could upload it as a jpeg and tell people to open it with paint and then save it. That also works.

Ya I did as you directed, I think, and it don't think it worked. Mainly because I am not sure how to play, am I sposed to just join a game with it running and it should switch to it? Or can i play it of hand. Do I put it in the "mods" folder? Or somewhere in the Desert Combat folder?

Ok, one thing is bad. Dual processor. WoW, you get to processers, BUT what about the BUS speed? Hummmm, let me think...two processers...BUS speed that will reach no where near 2.0ghz (yet )...equals slower comp unless you are doing like stated, CG animation, maybe programming, video editing.Other wise they are nice, but dual processer systems aren't all that great. I love to have one, and about $5,000. :(EDIT: Give me about $9000 :D:D

The Armory has great servers for both games. I started to play Battlefield 1942/Desert Combat again because of the server. The server is not disconnecting me every 5min. , but it runs fine otherwise. Tank you, Tank you, and also tank you! O, and Thank you. I will have to say this is a very nice website.

awww, I got the stupid score. I had to run OpenGl instead of Direct 3D. With Direct 3D I can run all of the enviroment settings, but I didn't figure out to turn that off if I am to run OpenGl. hehe, I almost ended a game with 0. Luckly I got a kill with the M82 :DGG, TA! I hope I get to play you again.

I just want to see who else on the server is not able to play because of it. If you go to the Steam website, alot of people are having problems. They are mainly people playing CS though.

Recently, some people that were using Direct 3D now are not able to. Something in the latest patch causes Direct 3D to not be accepted. I am having this problem. I can not play with Software mode or OpenGL because of the extreme drop in FPS. With Direct 3D, I would get an average of 20 FPS. With OpenGL and Software, I get 30 FPS standing, but when moving/fighting it drops to 4FPS. If you can help, or are having the same problem, please reply.
