Where were you living prior to the move? You may pass through my area....I live in Alabama.....my dad lives in south GA (not far from FL)....off of I-75.Also when you get down there I think that area is covered by bellsouth dsl. Bellsouth does a GREAT JOB on the DSL in the southern states. The cable is good in some places but I havent heard of any beating bellsouth dsl. The speed is 1500 down and 256 up!

Borntodie those things do not work as well as they say. I worked traffic for years and issued tickets with those type of radar detectors/jammers all the time. If I walked up and saw one on the dash I ALWAYS give them a ticket. Even though they are not illegal in my state.....I feel that they had their break when the thing went off.

This is true BUT thats the reason why I ask what his ping was before the problem. Chances are good that he is not hitting a dish to get to the server even though its in another country for him. Another reason for the neotrace program. If you see spikes and packet loss. I could be wrong but I think there is a fiber back bone in for him in Canada. Dexter do you know if there is fiber backbone across the the ocean floor? I am no expert at broadband by far but for you to have a 120 ping that is really good for the distance. I would almost be certain in saying you are not hitting a dish in the sky either (again I could be wrong). The reason I say this is because I had broadband over a satelite connection for a while before I moved and could get dsl. The ping wouldnt get much better than 600ms. Even though I could hit 3 Mbits down stream.

I may give it a shot just because the original CW game was what got me hooked on computer games when it come out. Thanks for the info....I will check it out.

There is a list of keys out but most of the time people are using them. I think [TA]-AlaraphonAMD is right about that though.....If they want to play tell them to drop 10 bucks on the game. That way everyone can play when they want. I wouldnt give anyone my CD key if I were you. They might decide to post it on the net to "help someone else out" and then when you want to play someone will be using your key that you payed for. :roll:

:idea: Well many things can cause this......The first that comes to mind is your internet connection with cable. The 180 ping is not to good for cable. Is this what you have always had while playing? You may want to download a program called neotrace and trace to the server. Watch it for an hour or so and see what kind of ping ranges you get. If they spike note where they are. Also do it at the same time you normally play. If your ping stays stable and low during peak internet usage hours then you can most likely rule out your cable modem. You really need to post your computer specs also....If you are running a slow computer and have things running in the background this can cause the game to lag. To the point of a connection problem I am not sure. I have a strong gaming rig with a gf4 card and have seen this happen to me when I was trying to run a movie recording program in the back ground while playing. My ping went up from 50 to 1500 just by running the program. So that maybe something to look into. You can type msconfig in your run menu to see what is running at startup. Just a simple defrag can also help.......but there are so many things that can cause these problems you really need to post more info like the following: Has this just started? If so what was your ping before? :arrow: What is your computer specs and OS? (a must have) :arrow: Are you networked? If so what kind of router? :arrow: What times are you seeing these problems? :arrow: Have you traced your internet connection to the server with neotrace? If so are there any spikes?I will be more than happy to help you anyway I can but I need to know the above listed things to kind of rule some of them out. I am sure most everyone is going to tell you the same thing.

( for my personal learn or bring from america story ! ).Egidio.Well there are many things that seperate the two. The 2 major parties in the USA are the Democrat and Republican. I have listed 2 reasons the two are not the same below but these certainly are not the only 2.The democrat typically believe in more social programs for the public, but the cost of these programs usually mean much higher taxes. They also do not believe in a strong military (or thats my take anyway).Republicans ( I feel) believe in less social programs and lower taxes. Thus giving more money to the people to invest or to do what they want with. I feel this is more in line with what our country was founded on...lower taxes. The problem is a lot of people cant make it with out the government telling them what to do. The more extreme Democrats are would be best decsribed as socialist but bordering on communist (agian this is my view). This is because they believe in people working and giving the government almost all of their money and in return the government runs their lives. Again that is some of the "far left" but is the basis behind the democrat views while maybe not as extreme the more moderate they are.The reason a lot of our people believe in democrats point of view is because of our history stretch back to the depression the early part of last century. People like my grandmother had very hard time but what they dont understand are that things have changed and our country has come a long way. In the USA today I dont care how poor you are you can make something of yourself IF you want. My dad grew up very poor and now own 4 corporation worth over 100 million dollars. I would like to stipulate that HE has a lot of money, but I DO NOT. He believes in working for your money and by giving it away you dont learn respect for it. I feel the same way. (thats another story). If my dad had been bogged down on some social program all his life my entire family would most likely been sitting around on public assistance all their life. The republican party is ofter viewed as the party for the rich, but it could more accurately be described as the party for people with ambition. People that start with nothing in life and make it just like my dad! I hope to be added to the success list one of these days also.You do have a few people in the USA that tend to like issues on both sides...I used to be one of them but as I got older my views have changed more to the right. We use the terms right and left to describe a political views. I think this was started because of the seating of politicians in congress. The republicans are on the right side of the deviding line (so to speak) and the democrats sit on the left side. Thus when someone says you are about as far left liberal they mean you have very extreme democrat views. The same goes for the far right. The middle ground people are called moderates. The vote for either party and not for only one side. I am sure this will give you a lot to think about and I am sure I have left several more questions for you. I may not have everything 100% but thats kind of my take on the political parties in a VERY short summary.
