What kind of pipe are you guys using and how many users can you have on at one time? I looked at this years ago when shoutcast first come out but it used a lot of bandwidth and at the time I only had 56k so I didnt bother. Back then DSL would only allow like 5 or 10 people I think. Has this changed?

Yes but my capitalist excess was so fun when I was home last night with power playing my over powered computer in my NEW house while have an ice cream from Sonic just a few blocks from my home. You would need to get a new motherboard supporting the 8x AGP also because you are only running at half power with the 4x.

It is a windows based where you can copy and paste stuff from the console. It is a totally new thing that you can see in the steam beta versions. There are so many new things about the new system you really just have to see for yourself. I like the friends thing where you can send a friend a private message in the game or you see your buddy online you just click on his name and then join to go to the server he is on. www.steampowered.com I think it s the website you can download it from. You MUST have broadband however to use this because it downloads some big files and the it downloads the whole game. You can play FA but only on a server that supports that new system. I tried to make it work on to connect to TA but I could not. If you buy the new DoD you will have the new GUI though and it will work with the current TA server.

For you guys that dont read the news on the front page. :!: Being the security minded type person I am I felt I should warn everyone about the new virus. Some of you may have heard about the latest virus o­n the loose, but if not please take the time to read this. It is called W32.Blaster.Worm and o­nly hits WinXP and Windows2000 machines, but it makes your system very unstable and can cause major problems for networks which equals LAG, something we all hate as gamers. Part of the payload it to perform a DOS o­n Microsoft o­n 8/16, opens your ports up, and makes your system unstable which may cause your system to crash. I checked my router logs and saw where my system was hit all day long o­n port 135 (among some others)which is the main port it tries to take over your system o­n. This is due to a hole in windows allowing that port to be used for this. Please download the windows patch from the link below and make sure your Norton's Antivirus is updated to at least 8/11 (if your virus definition is NOT up to date you are wasting your time) then scan your system. If you find you are infected go to the symantec.com link below and get the remove tool. I didnt mean it would lag. I mean it is just over kill and you would never see the full power with the card that you would see with a faster cpu. You would basically get the same results with a GF3 card because of the cpu and would save a lot of money. Even if you keep the card it will not look bad or lag or anything....just a waste of money I think.

That is a cool card but I am not sure a 800mhz cpu can keep up with that card. Kinda sure of it. I was reading an article about a year or more ago talking about the gf2 or 3s I cant think which but they said unless you had over 1gig the card would be sitting there twidling its thumbs. Another reason is I bet that motherboard is 4x which your card uses 8x. It will still run but at only 4x thus you are only going to get half the bang out of the card. I would take it back and buy a GF3 ti4200 (128) which is really over kill too but you will save yourself about $150 (or more) that you could use for more RAM and a good soundcard like a creative sound blaster audigy.If you are running XP and have less that 256MB of RAM that would be my first buy. I like 512+ myself.

Well I had the night off so my wife and I did a little shopping, went to eat sushi, and then went to a movie. Did me good to get out! While out I had to spend a little of that refund check our president got us! I got this VERY cool new computer chair with a remote control hooked to the side so you can get a massage with 16 controls! I LOVE IT! Then we went to see the movie SWAT (I just had to see it) I LOVED IT! Not to mention I had a GREAT MEAL!So here is StateCops suggestions1. If you lost your key not to worry....they are 9.99 last I saw at CompUSA and Wal-Mart. For the plain old HL anyway. I would spring for the new DoD though if I were you. That way you can have the new GUI which ROCKS!

Yeah even if it is 13 Grr guys on one team I dont have a problem with that I just like to see 13 players on the other team even if they are not all in the same clan. I look at it as motivation to get everyone on the other team to play as a TEAM.Mac I think he was meaning that there were more players (mostly Grr on one team) I could be wrong. Like 13red - 9blue (with mostly Grr on red)That is how I took it anyway.

The main thing is keep the teams even say 13-13. If they were 15 or so on one side that should not be taking place. Did anyone ask for the teams to be made even?
