Have any of yall read/heard about the new Unreal Tournament? It wont be out for at least another year (article said it wouldnt be called Unreal Tournament 2006....so I am just hoping that means that it should be out around 2006) but it looks soooo awesome. Now, I am not a huge fan of UT 2004, because it is much too fast paced and jumpy and things.....and I was ecstatic to see that the creators (no longer Cliffy :arrow: are making the game from scratch, not just modifying UT2004. Im talkin new engine, some new weapons, new game modes (which I will come back to later), and new game style. They are toning down the movement speed so you can actually hit someone instead of just shoot randomly and get a kill. Anyways, I like how they are doing things. They created the level shells without any textures or "pretty stuff" and playtest them a lot. That way they can change things around with ease and make the levels perfecto. Also the new Unreal 3 Engine looks awesome. They have a picture of Malcolm (what they consider the icon of UT, according to my Computer Gaming World magazine) ingame, and then they have a close up of his face. The face picture has a caption under it that says "The real thing." I thought that they meant it was a real person! I didnt realize that it was an ingame render until I read the rest of the little sub-article. Game modes: CTF, Team DM and regular DM, and something new called Conquest. Conquest is pretty much a war instead of a single battle. They have only created the game type on paper so far, but it sounds awesome. It is supposed to be a HUGE HUGE HUGE battlefield (anyone ever played Planetside? Like that big I am thinkin) and it will have territories and strategic positions and things on it. There will even be RESOURCES! The more strategic positions a team captures, the faster they get resources to build turrets and vehicles with. But, the counterweight is that the more bunkers a team controls, the faster their resources drain, so that way one team cant just have one successful push and the game is over. Anyways, yall need to read up about it. It looks most excellent, even if you arent a big UT fan. Oh, and it has been storming all night here, and still is. My yard is a big puddle :peace: I live up on the highest hill in my town, so all the water drains down to the bottom and makes a pond when it rains a lot. I have played in it (when I was 11 or so) with my friends and it was about 2 feet deep down there. It was FUN. I think it is deeper than that already right now.

umm.....what exactly does 3.0 change? Looked like exact same game to me....famas still too accurate, SSG the same as it was, along with the m16. Donno bout the g36e cuz I dont use it much....but looked like the same game to me

I, for one, didnt think that HL2 was FLAWLESS.....it wasnt perfect....not even close to being as good as the first Half Life......CSS wasnt done perfectly either IMO....but then again it is just a different version of an already corrupted game but I am not complaining about having to pay for DOD:S.....I for one didnt order it but it was only like $10 more, right? Thats a steal.

If you are implying what I think then I am pretty sure that everyone who has gone through puberty has had THOSE dreams.....different ballpark of dream there though

last night...thats Saturday, March 19, 2005, I had the coolest dream EVAR. Well, it was the coolest dream I have ever had. A new HL2 mod came out.....a sword combat type mod. I installed it. Of course, this being a dream, I was suddenly inside the game. I picked up and sword and stabbed this other guy, I remember thinking "This is awesome!" I grabbed the Katana that he had, threw my smaller sword down. Then I dove through a window (the map was a dirt road with houses on the sides and snow around the houses) and jumped up. There was a girl person in there, just standing there. We starting fighting....Im talkin this was a goood sword fight. I ended up stabbing her in the belly, then jumping out of another window (the dream me likes to do that). The girl respawned and was out for vengeance. I ran, ducked around a corner to wait for her. I jumped out as she got near. I found myself completely sliced into two pieces. then I kept on fighting random peoples...it was awesome Edit: Second part of the Dream: To DH: heck yes I remembered it all day. It was only the best dream EVAR! I think I actually started playing a shooter, I was thinking in the dream it was CSS with pistols, with like my whole grade. I ended up going off somewhere and hiding in some rafters for a long time.....some guys came in and starting building a ceiling where I was and I just started talkin to this black dude....he didnt find it at all strange that there was a person sitting in the rafters. Oh and to get up to the rafters I had to climb up a measuring tape....that was interesting. Anyways, I was just sitting up there, the cieling was finished and they had to climb a ladder to get to me. They had no clue where I was. Then out of nowhere I was in a burning, pillaged village at night. The enemies were really close so I ran into a building....they found me about two seconds later....my dream ended when they found me or I dont remember anything else of the dream.

I am in 10th grade. Should be takin the SAT early in 11th grade. And I know that having a 4.0 isnt the most important thing to colleges, but it is still a plus. I kinda talked to my counselor and she wasnt real sure, said she could look into it though. I think my brother and parents are having a conference with her to look at his options, and I am guessing that that is what will happen with me.

I kinda want to stay in the southeast. I live in Alabama. Dont worry about money stuff right now. As to grades, and dont take this as bragging please cause I dont mean to brag. 4.0 GPA, and actually I havent taken the ACT or SAT yet but on the PLAN ACT....the practice one that is just like it I made a 28, predicted score on the actual ACT of 29-30. My brother got the same, then got a 32 second time....and I pretty much follow in his footsteps. I forget what he actually made on the SAT but it was in 99th percentile of the country. So I am not saying that I will definately get those awesome grades but just wanted to know some of the good programming colleges. Thanks
