Thanks Nadril for so much detail and pics, nice work. it almost swayed me to thinking games with unreal magic and stuff might be interesting to try. i saw ra1 so real "lose it" and go unreal to ra2:yuri and beyond. but i accept if one forgives the unrealness of some games, the games can be as challening if not more then ogames that represent current reality.

Thanks. Amazing. I mean, they are great and make me tear from one area and drip from another yet drowl form still another. Never mind which is from which I doubt my current pc could handle it, so "i" likely could not also "handle it". But there is still hope. We won inheritance court case after 2 yrs. Right on Eskimo. Thanks for pointing that out. me and TigerHawk had reasonably lag free play at first too. Each patch gave us more and more lag. We ended up hating patches from EA.

Klink and I alternated between Duke Nukem and RA for rests and mix it up. When we got tired of shooters like Duke online, we switched to Red Alert online which also has rank ladder to work on for world like BF2 has. We also did Red Alert2. It's an overhead view of maps where you slect where to build your base based on terrain, map size, number of players, ore fields. Then you build base buildings to collect ore= money = to buy more stuff ... you start out with little money and must work for and pay for everything like in real life Pay for walls and auto gun turrets to protect base buildings from spys and attacks. Build soldiers, tanks, airplanes, anti aircraft guns and aa people with stinger missiles. If you get enough time and money, even a nuke. We preffered RA1 as it was real like now. RA2 and later versions added silly mind control and fast tank killing spiders, etc... RA2 wasn't too bad this way but it's mod Yuri's Revenge added to much unrea lstuff like mind control crap. i sometimes still join online RA2 online servers where yuo get team work u pto 4 vs 4. That's a big map where you ally with 3 and play against 4 from other side of map. you have to be i nareas of map to see what's there so it gets challenging to keep abreast of what the enemy is doing. meanwhile, if you see or hear an ally in trouble you can shift your flanks to save him. he nay need aa or ground help. Gator did you try the more current day-real RA1 or somewhat unrealistic RA2 ? I understand these games aren't for fast paced shooter lovers. But they were a welcome slower buildup to a climax when we didn't mind a map lasting 1-2 hrs for a rest. The build u pwas exciting as we watched each other and enemy attempts to infiltrate. Satisfying when you were saved or you saved a team mate.

I could suggest some adreneline pumping single player games for a change now and then, like AVP. But you want ideas to mix it up with online stuff so maybe consider strategy types like RA2 series of mods.

I found out about it at ATI website details that told me to use their driver cleaner, use their ms.net framework 2 installer, then install their latest video drivers. Just a guess. I don't know what that .net thing is for. Besides total uninstall and deleting then reinstalling, only other ideas i have that were lockup solving, are empty theses folders : desktop\my documents\bf2\cache " " " \dmp " " " \mods\xpack\cache xpack is sf but i might have the spelling wrong.

Lol. Thanks for the laughs. I need them. I know what Cutlas and Gator mean about the uniform thing. As to dealing with idiots, try full time on bus trying to keep schedule that can be hard. As to my truck. That gloss black paint seals a lot of worries from rain and prying patrol car eyes, especially when in a hurry home from work to try and relax. If it looks looked after, less chance of being pulled over and being served an order to prove road worthiness. That paint also works well on my old black work shoes. Sorry I late posting here. Been on "sabitical" lately not feeling like doing anything. "Working" on it. As to your Blazers. Looks to me like my fave black one of the 2 has had mega cash spent on it to allow use of such big tires. Likely a suspension or body lift kit. Also looks like either very expensive rims to extend wheels out from vehicle to allow proper turning, or hub extenders. If hub extenders, be careful as they are more likely to break or bend your axles. Mine has the normal suspension lift allowed br turning up the front suspension bars under middle to max. As well as longer brackets at rear between leaf rear and frame. With this I get 28" diameter tires max. You appear to have atleast 30 or 31 " tires. Wow. If I'm right, this is the one to fix if not too much too fix. But it will never be a truly rugged off-road banger as the axles and frame are not strong enough to take heavy duty banging. If you take the bumps slow and test a little hill climbing okay. I could go on but this getting long. Any problems or questions feel free to ask me. Nice work on those animations. Reminds me of long ago enjoyed times with ... ummm ... what was it ... "Mech Warrior". I think Klink playd me in that when internet games were not available for most but we had city server we paid $10'month to play in up to about 12 players as they needed 12 phone lines t odo it. Am about right Klinko ? Fun times there were. This server also ran Duke Nukem. It was a blast. i remember flying around in mech doing circle stafe in air under enemy ground fire and taking them out. Duke Nukem i remember we had 12 filling server a ttime with modd map tha twas tiny and we fought for a pool, which was funny as you saw legs and arms falling in water from kills. if you were using agua lung to hide in water for while, lol, like i did.
