Me and TigerHawk have it but rarely play since we need server with no high ping players or our old pcs lag otherwise.

I'm sorry, for myself, , for not "making it" that night. Because I've since tried my new patched up version in online servers and had a blast. Especially in a server called "Knights of The Realm". It isn't always up, often appears around 2-3 am est. They set enemy to about 12 bots only and U.S for real players only. So regardless of how many on us side it runs. The enemy bot ai is maxed so they kill you with 1 shot often and sneek around you to your base flags if you don't watch out. Was challenging, not frustrating and lots of laughs. I'll try harder to join if possible next time y'all post a bfv war. ps: I did well with m60/m79 combo. Have to prone quick with m60 for accuracy. m79 takes praxctice as so different aim then FA.

Since nobody posted how i'll explain too late that we finally tried again sunday just before it expired, and found the online servers. Problem was we were starting dod:s from steam, then checking online servers and saw none. But with just steam up, click bottom find servers button and filter for dod:s and voila, lots of servers. "Dagnammit". "Yavol" was so correct Klif. :eek:

According to my completed download which took about an hr, after i tried starting it, it said i will have 60 hrs to play it when i start playing it, anytime after noon friday est. until i guess midnight sunday est.

Anyone atleast in central southern U.S. that has seen media of warnings of long delayed aftermath from hurricane floods ? Not just Hanta virus. Black mold in walls also can be lethal to your lungs. That's why much area coorunteened and many buildings found unsafe. Problem is getting everyone to know. Also many disagree. I would not disagree with findings of the same Government body protecting us from biological terrorist attack. It amazes me how many are quick to contradict real threats. But yes you're right we don't want unnecessary panic. But I certainly would want to be told, and from where ? if i might have a threat.

i'm glad those that posted corrected me on the severity of it. but my point is what of those that don't know about it and risk their life for that whatever from wherever ... 1/100 chnace ? it's a fact, no matter how small a fact. seems important to spread once in awhile atleast, especially humid southern U.S./like climates where high humidity is common (New Orleans?)

i trust you are experienced at this because i am an anti-overclocker if one can't afford replacing overheated parts or system.

Yes. Point worth repeating is the POSSIBLY invected rodent droppings or urine, almost unseeable after dried, even squirrels and chipmunks or any creature or surface they came into contact with, like your pet cat or dog or birds from the squirrel nests ... also homes with no basements that have space between floor and ground like motor homes, or compost piles, sheds, etc ... caves ... where these pests thrive, could be building up this toxic infected waste below your home ... which vapors especially in hot climates where humidity dries out of earth and rises to your home ... could carry said lethal virus. To keep things in perspective ... it is not very common. But ofcourse you should be more aware of danger if any of above conditions are met by you anywhere. PS: A similar virus killed 1/3 of Europe and 1/4 of Britian about 100 yrs ago. The "Black Plaque". We can stop it from happening again by sharing knowledge of where it comes from and using proper care and cleansing of ourselves. ;-) Hence the many organizations under various names like UNICEF and maybe "United Nations" that have been working on this for decades to educate small countries not just in hopes of prevention of it spreading to the world. ;-) Thus the importance of ALL WORLD COUNTRIES in allowing such help and conformation of education to their public so the world FEELS less at risk. ;-)

Specs cause sometimes i like to sneak to enemy toys and take em out. other times i find that scope helps defense or offense taking out defense. the c4 and grenades come in useful too.

"Roger that". I wasn't part of the decision. An admin posted his reason for decission in admin forum. It is not contested. Thank you for your apology. It is noted. The game server ban length was set as perma but may not be so if you maintain patience and respect in forums. How long I can't say. Maybe few months atleast. With good behavor in forums. Some people avoid servers and forums when they feel frustrated. I understand frustration can be contributed to by many factors even outside the game. I hope you don't have anymore and welcome any useful or careful funny attempts in our forums.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am 70/30 likely there for it friday evening/night (thrs/fri off). Just patched and joined online servers. I had left it unpatched because of the rare time I still played it was for amusement with the music, so I played single against maxed out enemies with that m60/law combo for good challenge, music and laughs. No m60/law combo after patch. Also it would have been much better I thought if you only saw "friendlies" behind bushes and trees. So those snipers couldn't pick you off withoput actually seeing you, because of your enemy color name popping up under their crosshair when it was where you were hidden. Otherwise, great game and music with so much foliage to try to hide behind.

It would be more helpful if you could provide the player or players exact names as well as hash id and ip, date, time, server from BF2CC. This way we can all be sure of who it really was regardless of what name and tag they used that time. No one or group of people is perfect. If one of ours got a little "carried away", which is rare, hopefully it doesn't happen again. If so, please try and get the above mentioned info. Thanks and peace.

i suggest to all if you don't have current best systems, you may be better off with older then newest video drivers. you have to experiment to find best drivers for age of your system. what counts is driver date compared to expected average cpu speed, ram, video card speed and ram.

Me too. The extra foliage to hide behind made it exciting. But i got impression that the enemy could still see you even though he could not see you because he moved hos mouse in your area and got enemy color name showing so even though he not see you pc telling him you there. That was wrong to have in code in my opinion. Witout that code i think it would and still could be very realistically challenging.

New "update" to my previous posts with you on this : My son who once a week I let play CS1 here, showed me that any CS1 server was laggy with these 81.98 Nvidia drivers in my pc2 sys. I experimented with various windows (max video performance set) and video software settings (max performance set) for a week to no avail. So I finally gave up and went straight to the nvidia 77.77 exe installer. It detected the newer driver and asked if i wanted to go back. I said yes. It did stuff, then asked to reboot, during reboot winxp gave popup saying new default video *** detected, do you want to install. behind that window was an nvidia window popup that said 77.77 install interupted, stop other install then press our continue button to finish. i canceled winxp offer, finished nvidia 77.77 reinstall. now son's cs1 servers have no more lag. and surprising to me, my sprays still work in FA. They did not before with 77.77 but maybe i uninstalled/reinstalled wrong. all is good to go. we found cs1 and now FA prefer opengl instead opf d3d, in 800 res. PS: Moral of this story is I have learned from much trial and error that older video drivers are often best for either older pcs and video cards or/and older games. "Don't play with fire" j/k, leave bios default (although i did disable bios "fast agp write", i not sure yet if that makes big diff), video card and winxp best performance, touch nothing else. i thought i had and maybe did have a few more fps in bf2 in usual laggy big wavy water maps like "clean sweep". but it works now non the less if not a lot of players. good luck older pc users, hope this helps you, regards, Hogan. ;-)

What is the date of that pic Klinko ? All i can remember based on hat and fleecy jacket is it's somewhere between 2002 and 2004. I think, Klink. Now to start a rap song, not too long. I don't remember that woman. I'm sure I would as I'm good with faces but bad with names I haven't used more then once. I'm sure it wasn't a one night stand. She must be atleast an acquaintance of yours ? Maybe the visit was was one of my past many "try to fix your pc" stopovers ?
