I'm assuming you have to buy the actual game first correct? Because it won't let me log in in the game. If you do, oh well. I found the Collectors Edition DVD set brand new off of Amazon.com for 10 bucks. If not... I can always sell it for a profit on eBay
  2. my comment was directed at Steveo because he's afraid of needles, wheat

thanks for the offer, but the client I was talking about just finished It's installing now. Also, I just got my schedual for the first week of my Meat Clerk job at D&W, and I start this thursday. YAY! MONEYS IS GOOD
  4. Just be glad that no one gave you a Flu shot and then walked away with the needle still in your arm.
  5. Um.... What exactly do those graphs show for people who haven't played Guild Wars? Apparently your team won all thoise times and I'm guessing the graphs show the health of the players(seeing as it says "health" on it ) but how can we tell what line corresponds with who's health? nvm, I figured it out.

I guess I'll try it out as well. Can't argue with free But that is one HUGE download for the client! It's almost 2 Gigs! D: D: D: D: D: D:

For some reason I can't get to Sourceforge. Know of any other locations we can obtain that file on Sourceforge? depending on the size of that pc2 thingy, you can email it to me at zorlentriv@gmail.com, I have more than enough space
  8. Ok then, smarty pants Care to enlighten me as to how downloading doesn't effect the 3 computer network we have at our house? And specifically our 3 computer network under our router? I'm well aware that server load can bog everyone connected to one, but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about our specific network of 3 computers under our router. Our connection must first go through OUR network before it gets to the internet. Downloading bogs down OUR network and therefore our connection to the ISP server without affecting the rest of the users on that server. You are right though. If there are server problems at the ISP, then everything slows down, period. Also server load bogs it down somewhat. Those you can't do anything about. But does that explain how my ping goes from 500 to 50 when I pause a download or stop an upload on my brothers computer during peak internet use hours? If it does, then I'm sorry, but I'm missing something. I seriously doubt 20,000 people stopped using the internet that very same instant/A major server problem was fixed that very instant. Oh, before I forget. I don't have to worry about putting a virus on his computer G. We've had to wipe his harddrive 3 times the past 2 years due to the massive infection on there.
  9. Thanks, and he finally stopped! No More 500+ pings.... for a whilke at least!
  10. Ok then, since our connection is being strangled by my brother, I made a few random images using Photoshop and some images I found on Google. Since I have nothing better to do, here they are: http://img144.echo.cx/img144/3456/banner5ad.jpg This one I'm planning on using as a sig banner at some point, but all my fonts suck so untill I get some new ones this is what it looks like. http://img144.echo.cx/img144/1239/earth5fn.th.jpg This is my latest and greatest planet. I really need to work on the rest of the elements of space though http://img144.echo.cx/img144/6830/stuff8rm.th.jpg Don't ask, I don't know myself.
  11. This is why I enjoy this community so much, you guys can be delightfully evil when need arises! Thanks for the suggestions. There's always a risk of an "Accident" when playing with fire.
  12. This is freaking funny in a way. My brother has been on a downloading binge sincfe friday, and I've been letting him know how I feel about that the whole time. So, my parents, smart ones they are, said that our connection is not bogged down by my brother's downloading binge. They claim that it's the server that our connection goes to. That may have something to do with the tiny fluctuations of maybe 1-5 ms in the connection speed, it doesn't account for the 200-900 ms difference in speed from no downloading to brother downloading his wrestling dvds. Apparently, they aren't aware of a second and MUCH tighter bottle neck in the system called a ROUTER.

that was... interesting... I got it, but it wasn't all that funny If you want funny, try these flash cartoons: The REAL legend of Zelda and it's sequal Those are paradies of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and they are enough to make even the most humorless person roll around on the ground laughing!
  14. Hey guys, theres a multiplayer Flash game on the internet that is a lot like Madness Interactive. It's called Gangsta War. It does this whole rpgish thing where you have to fight others in order to get money to buy better stuff(like guns, better protection, Bling... probably other stuff not apropriate for this forum). You can check it out Here.
  15. We should all give that link to random people in IMs and see how they react. It is friggin hilarious sometimes. so far the main response has been: I haven't had so much enjoyment out of torturing innocent people in a looooooong time. Thank you for posting this G!
  16. I'm glad that you like it G, but that simply isn't for me. But the reaction from my brother when I made him listen to it was more than worth the torture of listening to it myself. So thanks for posting that link, now I have a great way of getting laughs
  17. wow... I could only stand about 15 seconds of that. How can you like that? it makes my eardrums bleed out of sheer craptacularness. My Father probably sings better than her and he's tone deaf!
  18. They're right on for me, so I don't know.
  19. You can use mine if you want. The running around crosshair is in the little box and the larger crosshair is the scope. I also decided to be nice and include the weapon texts so all you have to do is extract the zip in your sprite folder. Zuljins crosshairs.zip Zuljins crosshairs.zip
  20. Yeah, right now I simply use the default scope sprites. I'll eventually get around to making a scope xhair. But I made my "running around xhair" 32x32 and it works fine.
  21. Yeah, I found a comprehensible tutorial on it here and made a fairly nice one. I can aim with it better than the ones Delta made( no offense delta, your crosshair set is freaking awsome). Its just a simple T crosshair that fades on the outer points of the T.
  22. I was thinking of making my own crosshairs for FA, but I'm not sure what size the sprite for each crosshair should be. Do they HAVE to be a certain size for them to work or does it not matter?
  23. That sharpdevelop thing reminds me of Visual Studio, at least the Visual Basic part, that I used in my Information tech class. Does it come with a compiler or do you have to find one yourself like most open source IDEs that I've found? }EDIT{ Never mind, I just checked their website. it comes with a compiler. YAY. No more searching for a compiler!
  24. Blender, an open source 3D editing program, has game engine capabilities, so you could use that for the graphics end. For programming, the best thing to use is Visual Studio, but that's REALLY expensive, so you could try Crimson Editor, which is a free IDE, but you'd have to find a compiler to go along with it. For the audio... your on your own. I have no clue as to what you could use.
  25. Once you get the hang of it, it gets to be more fun, but like I said there's only 4 maps, and they're on the smallish side. Given some time and tweaking I think it will be much better. In the later levels you learn how to create 3 explosive fireballs out of nothing so you don't HAVE to throw plain old boulders(or the corpses of the enemy) to kill stuff. Right now it's more on a "oh, that's kinda cool" stage. With some work, more levels/things to kill/ways to kill things and beef up the story, this could be a viable RPG-ish mod. BTW, the graphics almost remind me of fable }UPDATE{ Here are some screenshots that I took while I was playing: http://img41.echo.cx/img41/8329/screenshot37cq.th.png http://img41.echo.cx/img41/6794/screenshot22mu.th.png http://img41.echo.cx/img41/9941/screenshot16yx.th.png
