Trust me, I have been to some. Believe it or not I am a Deviant, not that there's anything there seeing as I signed up after I "put away" my photoshop. I know full well what people who have dedicated their lives to this can do. If I wasn't such a video game addict, I'd probably be a lot better artist than I am now, or maybe not. Who knows. I don't And besides I'm probably going to go the web design route after college. Designing a webpage is a fun challenge for me, I just hate having to come up with crap to place IN the webpage that I designed

I'm sure that you guys have played at least one shooter game along the lines of Galaga, Defender and their more modern descendents in the arcade. Well, now you can get your own for free, no quarters required, on your PC. Gunroar is great fun to play. It's a classic "I don't know what the crap is going on but it's fun/cool" game. God, that reminds me of one of the family dogs, Dizzy. Only instead of trying to eat itself, our dog simply spins in circles, runs into walls and trys to drag Pizza boxes through the dog door (The dog door is MUCH smaller than a pizza box, quite entertaining to see the stupid dog struggle with it though )

I have KOTOR for PC, but my game disks got corrupted somehow. It would lockup during loadtimes and then crash. So I uninstalled it planning on reinstalling it but an error shows up during the installation. So no more KOTOR for me. Aww well, I got NWN and Morrowind to get my RPG fix. Every once in a while I play Diablo 2 as well, but the mindlessness of the game prevents it from sticking. Although I <3 the necromancer from that game :*( For FPS, CSS and FA are the main ones, although I have been playing HL2 more often recently. I'm trying to veery away from FPS because it always seems as if my head hitbox is vastly larger than everyone else. The game I play most often is called D&W Meat Clerk however. :arrow:

I use the voilet one because in Jedi Acadamy the violet staff sabre owns all. Oh, and it's sweet in KOTOR as well. I'm different and proud of it! But nothing can match the destructive power of the exploding cows of death as shown in the second screenshot. I got pwned a second after that screenshot was taken. If the game randomly crashes to the opening screen of FA, open your console. It will say something along the lines of "Client not present on channel 57."

Well, I got on twice today. First time this morning at about 11:00 and I just got off now from my second. I wish the server was bigger, but they're letting us play for free, so who cares?

Well, after going on that website, no you don't have to buy it. I did everything and it worked fine. It's just a small server so it's full most of the time, but I did get on this morning. It's an interesting game. They've obviously boosted the xp gains and other stuff, so it's really easy to level.

Not really. Monthly fees are simply access charges to the game developer's own game servers. It costs a lot of money to run a server that can handle that amount of load. Game developers also can't depend on donations like private servers can. So, using private servers isn't too compareable to warez. You paid for the product, you simply decided to not use the game developers servers in favor of one that doesn't require a monthly fee.

I think you still have to buy if not the game, then a valid serial for it. Since I got the DVD set, I deleted the client I downloaded since I can't use it untill my DVD set gets here. Playing on private servers though, you don't have to pay the monthly fee, correct?

When I get my copy, I'll see you guys on that server then. I guess it's time to learn why people pay so much to play them. By the way, here's another possibility: Deviant Realms This one has boosted XP, Adema(whatever that is ), Item Drops and SP(no clue what this is either). It's a fairly new one according to them so a lot less crowded. And the 3x boost on the 4 things mentioned before sound cool. Less time grinding, more time having fun.
