my video card sucks.buy me a new one.

Ever since the new server(s), the CS:S server is always empty. Is it the new server, or is everyone playing BF2?

i give a stars! see, it's like this: i can't understand how anyone would strive to appear stupid. i just can't wrap my mind around it. i'm always trying to learn something new. and i think everyone else does, too, to some extent. so it just follows, that if i throw around words that don't exist, i expect someone to correct me, so i can be more knowledgable and don't look retarded. so i do the same for everyone else. supposively is not a word. it does not exist, it is not a typo, it is a commonly misspelled and mispronounced word. the word, said and spelled correctly, is supposedly, and you will sound less retarded if you use it instead. that's all i'm sayin'.

LOLZ, every time this link pops back up, i watch it over and over. the eyebrow thing, i mean, come ON, i LOVE this kid!

Although I own Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam, I think the two biggest things holding me back from playing them more often (or at all!) are the following: Primarily, my Video Card, rather basically, Sucks. I have a GeForce MX 4 440 or something along those lines. There are games I've bought that don't even work because of my card (Star Wars Lego, Prince of Persia to name a couple). I need a new one to rectify this problem. Secondarily, it's not a familiar engine. All the HL1 games are familiar, no matter what they are or when they came out, simply because I know the engine. Of course, the only way to fix this is to play more. See reason number one. Also, as a footnote, I suppose there's another reason. And this reason extends to even a bunch of really good and fun Steam games. -- I like smaller communities. I like Firearms, where I've played with and semi-know 75% of the other players on a server at any given time. With Battlefields, and even CS:S and DoD, I might maybe know one or two other players.

I spend most of the day in the living room, with spots of kitchen-ness, and the night is bedroom-time. My initial thought is to put one box-fan at Window B, facing into the house, and another at WIndow E, facing outside -- with only those two windows open. I was hoping this would create a mild wind-tunnel effect, sending a cool breeze through the house. My second thought was to open all five windows (A, B, C, D, E), placing the fans in the same place (B, E), both pointing inward, sending all the air into the living room and -- my hope, anyway -- out Windows C and D. Another wind tunnel effect. Do you see any better placement ideas? Given: Windows A, B, C, D, and E can be open or closed in any combination necessary. Archways G and H have no doors on them -- they are just entryways. Doorway F can be open or shut. Doorway I, I would prefer to be open at all times, because the restroom has no ventilation. And Doorway J I would prefer to be closed, as there is no screen on it, and many monsterous bugs and wasps hang around outside. So, what do you see as being my best chance of keeping my little house cool?

to get those results, you can spectate, record, stop recording, leave the server, turn on external programs, and view the demo. nobody gets hurt, and you can check out hackers.

my video card hates me, so i run games at 800x600. desktop, tho', is at 2560x1040!
