  1. :twitcy: PC > Consoles... for FPS multiplay. I'd still never play racing or adventure games on a PC, but FPSs? No way.
  2. Yankees 2007 payroll: $ 189,639,045 Rockies 2007 payroll: $ 54,424,000 http://asp.usatoday.com/sports/baseball/salaries/totalpayroll.aspx?year=2007 :D:rolleyes:
  3. They win 14 out of the last 15 including a playoff tonight in the 13th inning after falling behind two runs... and make the playoffs for the first time since 1995. Wow.
  4. This might pry me away from TF2 for a while. Hopefully it does not suck. http://www.firststrikemod.com/us/
  5. I don't think a helmet will save you if you crash going highway speeds on a motorcycle. You'll basically be ripped apart by the road. This is why I want nothing to do with motorcycles, there are too many idiot drivers out there who don't watch out for bikes and can cost you your life real quick.
  6. Paying for a beta that is out months before anyone else gets to play the game is almost justifiable, just for the sneek peak aspect. Paying for a demo of a game coming out in a month? No way. If they are gonna do this they should use your money towards a preorder of the game, the way valve did with the orange box and TF2.
  7. TF2 is about ten times more engaging then quake wars and you also get portal and episode 2 for the same price as one quake wars. Anyway, I don't think QW will last long after COD4 is released a few weeks later.
  8. I joined as well a couple days ago. Can non-members join? I noticed its an open group so right now anyone can join up.
  9. I just got my new debit card back.... must ..... wait..... for new credit card. I promised myself I wouldn't use my debit online anymore.
  10. I think I can do that, I'll probably get a GTS sometime around the game;s release. I had to take my vacation before the end of the year, guess what week I chose.
  11. What resolution do you run at? That'll determine how well your card will handle the game, if you run around 1280*1024 you'll be fine. When they say it'll break systems they're talking about running the game at the highest settings on a huge monitor, that hardly covers the way most people run games.
  12. 59.99 at www.woot.com Good deal if you're looking for a quality headset, usually around $100.
  13. That rorsch on the middle flag in tunis is probably the best spot in our map rotation. The other day I sat there and killed 17 guys in a row, good times. 2000dpi FTW
  14. Well today I get a call informing me that someone in Italy is making charges to my credit card. I've never lost my credit card so someone obviously got the number online somewhere. Anyone know how one can go about finding out where this information might have gotten loose? The weird thing is the card that was used wasn't even the one I use on the internet, I use another card 95% of the time. The last internet purchase I made with this card was months ago. I am always very careful with who I give my card to online, only reputable retailers, and mine was still swiped, watch out. Lesson learned, don't use your debit card online, you usually don't have any fraud protection and they can and will steal your number someday. Credit cards have much better fraud protection, I won't have to pay for any of the charges made fraudulently. Thank god it wasn't my debit card. This is so frustrating. Lame.

  16. Anyone else gonna try this out? I'll give it a shot. http://www.quakewarscenter.com/enemy-territory-quake-wars-demo.html Guess it'll come out sometime today, haven't found it up yet.
