  1. I want pictures! Especially if you go to any of the "tourist spots"
  2. I will be there as soon as I get home
  3. I think that was intentional
  4. Yes, we do need to bring in more traffic to both the servers and the website, but the problem isn't the game server, it's a lack of a single game that has a large following. Dropping any of the game servers currently running won't fix the problem. Adding new games might, but only if there was something out that could replace what we have, and currently there isn't anything that fits the bill. As far as our server is concerned, we actually have an incredible deal now, and we will probably not get the same discounts if we change again.
  5. Wow, and I thought I was getting ripped off at $550 /6 months.
  6. I third that, and fifteenth the "big loser" part
  7. Looks good. Thanks, Don.
  8. 30 miles SW of DC
  9. I'm not a big fan of any of those choices, but I do kinda like the Skyline.
  10. No carpet? Then I am not interested! I only buy PCs that come with carpets!
  11. I think those are pretty sweet computers. The prices seem high, but most of us here build our own stuff, and don't take into account how much time we put into them, and what that time is worth. If I calculated my hourly wage at work, it would really cost me more than 8k to build the same setup. If I didn't enjoy building custom machines so much, I'd probably look into this more.
  12. The new server is in San Antonio I think, and the site doesn't seem to have the same level of outbound connection than the Dallas sites we've used before... That's probably why ping is higher in general. Even with that, this server runs several times better than our last server, and we have more instances running on it. The only thing that would make this one better is if it would make me breakfast!
  13. Hey LP, long time no see! Come try CoD4 with us sometime
  14. I haven't seen it, but I'm willing to bet that is the basic plot. My wife won't watch it either, so I will wait until it's on DVD EDIT: Since some of us know how to use google, I looked up the spoilers and guess what, I am pretty stinkin' close
  15. A big ugly monster attacks New York. People scream. Stuff happens. People die. Monster leaves New York, goes back to where it came from so there can be a sequel. Happy now, Mr Spoiley-pants?
  16. That's cool. When I was 25, I had 12" subwoofers in my car that would do the same thing
  17. Yes, banilla. I have spelling ishuez.
  18. I am thinking of finding an unsuspecting BF2 server tonight (maybe starting around 7-8pm tonight) and doing mass amounts of killing... Anyone want to join me?
  19. I really doubt a new sound card will help impact there
  20. Uh huh, sure.... cheater
  21. Bad rebel, no donut!
  22. Am I the only one that read the label as "Accordion Heroin"?
  23. It was, but we rarely have more than 7-10 on there now when things get going, and it's frustrating to wait hours for it to start, lose one person, then have the round end. After that, people drop connection and it dies for good. I think a lower player count is good, until/unless we pick up more regulars and can get going again fulltime.
  24. That sucks, Mo. Keep your chin up!
  25. Nice... My boss wants to get one too. He's also starting his midlife crisis
