  1. Woohoo, thanks Gator!
  2. It works fine for me. A bit slower than under XP, but it works.
  3. I'm not a big fan of "American" cars myself, but so far I have seen two I kind of like, and this is one of them. The other is the new Dodge Charger. (edit: oops, meant the Challenger) Unfortunately, I can't get over the perception of poor quality of the American brand cars (which usually aren't American made anyway) so I will stick with my Japanese cars which are designed and built in the US
  4. I'm pretty sure things like this are more funny without accuracy.
  5. Of course there are. There's no chance of anything being bug-free This is the part that bothers me. All the BF games have always had so few maps, and no chance of adding 3rd party maps into ranked games, that they become stale very quickly. For some reason they think releasing a game with 8 maps, then charging $15-25 for 3-4 new maps that only a smaller fraction of people will get, meaning they won't be useful unless you run multiple servers, is a good idea. But like all new games, I'll hold off pre-judging as much as possible until I see a demo
  6. It's a different type of game. Right now, anything that breaks the monotony of playing the same game over and over is good. Being able to pick from 3-4 online games, with good friends, depending on what you're in the mood for on any given night is never a bad thing.
  7. Lots of people haven't heard of these scams. Generally, with easy internet access, I try to look up things/numbers/people before calling any random goober that leaves a voice mail on my home phone. I usually don't answer my phone even when I am sitting right next to it, unless I recognize the number or caller ID name And if something seems strange, search for it on www.snopes.com it's a great place to find out if someone is trying to scam you.
  8. http://www.snopes.com/fraud/telephone/809.asp Kinda true, but these forwarded email "warnings" are actually worse than the real scam. I love this part: Are they trying to say the Bahamas are part of the British Virgin Islands? They should at least try to get their geography right The 809 area code is in the Dominican Republic, as the British Virgin Islands switched to another area code several years ago. The point is, if someone calls you and says "You've won a lottery, call me back at this # to collect" it's most likely a scam. People should know this already, and then we wouldn't need these "Handy E-Mail Alerts!" that don't really help anyone anyway.
  9. I am a dwarf wizard with a 16 charisma!
  10. I haven't seen the last couple weeks, but I have them all recorded. I will watch them while waiting for the local stores here to restock CoD4
  11. The game's been out 1 day Give it time!
  12. Stinking Euros getting an early start on perks
  13. I'm up for anything that will help protect our troops/law enforcement folks.
  14. Laughing Fat Man replied to Deli's topic in Gaming
They did it knowing my MB would fail 2 days before the demo release. With luck, it will be replaced before the full game comes out :klinked:
  15. "We're Yahoo, of course we can handle tens of thousands of people trying to simultaneously download a 1.4GB demo. Besides, how many people do you think are interested in this game?" I bet they are screaming at their IT staff for something that was really a poorly thought out management decision.
  16. Joe is a real American Hero, not a great speller. Spellist?
  17. You're not as cool as me
  18. You're a spamming dirtbag, and you're deleted..... again.
  19. Sensitivity changing wimps! I take out infantry and air targets with the Rorsch, and I use just a plain old MX1000.
  20. That's what I said.
  21. That's what I said.
  22. Who knows? There are several "alternative energy sources" already available in some form or another, but none have been as cost effective as oil, so far. If the price of oil/gas goes up that high, then the other sources/methods will finally be more attractive to the companies developing them.
