  1. I needed it, I've played the beta, but never been able to blow up the titan. I have been on the receiving end of Gator's squad blowing up my titan several times though.
  2. I really like the MX1000. The battery lasts between 8-12 days, but I just put the mouse in the recharger when I am not using it, the battery never dies on me.
  3. Those are the anti air missiles, and they are supposed to lock on to those towers... If you look at them, they have big flamey things on top (No, NOT Klink, but like Klink )
  4. Ditto, I hope this "gets the band back together"
  5. So far, from playing about 6 rounds, I'd say this is what EA should have done in patch 1.1 1) Hit registration seemed better 2) Aircraft armor was increased a bit (takes 3 AA missiles to bring down any aircraft) but tank main gun rounds do less damage to helicopters. 3) Did not see a single red/blue bugged player yet. 4) Not a single crash to desktop. 5) Gator hacks. 6) They added a delay to the attack helicopter guns (like the 'warm up' from the blackhawk's miniguns) 7) APC rockets take a LOT longer to reload. That's about all I have noticed yet, but I will be playing again tonight All in all, I give it at least one fat thumbs up
  6. I got 3 promotions in 2 rounds last night. Not bad for a "D" player
  7. I got a free one, but that doesn't mean I am not a moron!
  8. So that's how you can afford to do all those computer upgrades! Actually, you should already be getting pretty good gas mileage out of a small 4cyl. I was getting between 30-35 mpg city driving in my 107HP Honda Civic. You may want to look into K&N filters as well http://www.knfilters.com/
  9. I have had XM for a few years now.
  10. I already do a war dance every time I kill someone. But you wouldn't want to see it...
  11. If you can't get Verizon FIOS (fiber) don't go with Verizon at all.
  12. Yup, for 2003 Enterprise running SQL 2005, Exchange, and 4 running virtual servers. I only leave one machine on at home all day long, so I make it do everything.
  13. Dual core will only help if you are running applications that know how to work in a dual core CPU setup. Most don't. I love dual core CPUs, but there's really not much of a need (Yet!) in gaming PCs. You won't get that much of a performance boost, you just get something to brag about. On the other hand, dual core does wonders for home theater PCs (especially if you do MPEG encoding) and servers. I need to get my grubby paws on a couple of these, but I am waiting for work to "toss out" some 2GB DDR2 DIMMs so I have an excuse to buy something new. I figure a nice dual core server with 16GB should run everything I need for now :flame:
  14. They can do it with vehicle and supply drops, now UAVs... next comes the multiple arty strikes at once. That one might be interesting
  15. It's actually kind of annoying. I was playing on one server and people were doing this just to crash it.
  16. That's a rat!
  17. Hmm... now I can't decide... I guess I will have to alternate sigs
  18. Oooh, Hotei with an M-60... I like it!
  19. Yup, me too. I am looking for something with a fat guy laughing and firing an M-60.
  20. Ding ding ding! We have a winner! This would be a version of FA on HL2 that we could try out, if there's enough interest.
  21. Woohoo, looks good.
  22. Why? Because that's not the girlfriend?
  23. Wait... Are you talking about Crysis or Jessica Simpson?
