I had that problem too.. When I tried to order through Firefox, EA Link (which should not have problems with a real web browser) kept saying my session timed out. When I tried again with IE, it worked fine and I was able to pre-order.

I have the same problem. I did get a chance to play with a couple of the unlocks (from field upgrades) and the new support shotgun seems... less than useless... though maybe I just don't know how to use it yet.

I use a 22" widescreen. BF2142 does not have native widescreen support, but you can configure it to run widescreen via the shortcut. People have said it just stretches the sides of the screen, but I haven't noticed anything like that. I never noticed a difference in ghosting between a 2ms and an 8ms response time. My display is 5ms, and there's no ghosting at all.

Yes, commanders get a percentage of other people's scores. If someone is padding while you are the commander, then your score gets padded as well.

I got my action pack version of Vista, but it's just 10 licenses of Vista Business Upgrade, not Ultimate. I don't use the media center additions anyway, but I really want to see the bitlocker components. I don't want to run this on my main PC yet, but none of my other PCs can handle it... I may have to go buy a new one <_<

I don't think MS will be that strict, because that will force people to switch to another OS. I think it will work much like XP does with home versions. You will just have to call and ask for a new activation code after explaining you upgraded your PC.

I get Vista with my action pack subscription. I may install it on one computer to play with it, but I am not going to rebuild my gaming machine just yet.

They are definitely not going to cancel presentations OR exams, so I would assume they will push everything back a couple days to allow the rest of you to finish your stuff.

[TA] was the first clan I ever joined. I honestly wasn't even looking to join a clan then, I had just started playing Firearms 2.65 and found a server that was regularly full, most people there were friendly, and actively kept the "jerks" from ruining the game. Clans I have been in: [TA] <ARMORY> <TAC> (=A=) I might be missing a few, but those were the ones that lasted longer than a week
