If you are going for a whole package trip, then it doesn't matter what country you go to, any packages marketed in the US will be "US friendly" I wouldn't be worried about being blown up in the Philippines, it's still a lower risk than places like Indonesia, southern Thailand, etc... There's strange people and terrorists everywhere. As long as you watch out for yourself and have common sense, there's not much to worry about. You could go to some "perfectly safe" country and run into a disgruntled worker with an AK-47. The odds aren't high, but it could happen. As far as Avian Flu is concerned, there's more chance of getting that in Turkey right now than anywhere else, and most of the people that have it got it from doing things you wouldn't normally do (I heard one guy in Thailand died from it after he "sucked the blood from his fighting bird's beak" gross) Hell, you could go to Canada and get mad cow disease... Just go someplace you would like to see the sights, be careful, and have fun. Don't worry about the other stuff.

My wife is from Pampanga, the most dangerous thing there is hearing damage from the volume people talk. We're also planning on going to Boracay this trip.. white sand beaches, water that looks like vodka, asian girls in bikinis (but wrapped in towels so they don't get any darker.... it's a strange country )

SC, I have heard a lot of good things and a lot of bad things about Japan. My boss lived in Japan for 7 years, speaks and reads Japanese fluently, and when we talk about it, he recommends I don't go there without someone I trust who speaks Japanese and knows the area. It's not dangerous, but it's not easy to get around without it.

The buffer holds the last 30 minutes of whatever you were listening to, so you can rewind. Very neat. The MyFi has the same thing I think, but probably more than a measly 30 minutes A friend of mine bought the Roady and hated it, so I never even considered it. I also had 2 home kits, 1 car kit, and the boom box for the skyfi1, so I had to get the 2 so I could use all the old stuff.

Unfortunately, my building is shielded, can't even get cellphone signal unless you go outside, so a repeater won't help too much. I have been using the web streaming stuff once in a while (at least until they hijacked my favorite station with christmas music... grr) I had a skyfi 1 that broke about 2 months before the skyfi 2 came out, so I bought a replacement skyfi 1, then had to upgrade to the 2 for the 30 minute buffer and the cool blue display (the amber was killing me in my truck, since everything else in there was blue )

For gaming? It doesn't matter that much. Bandwidth isn't too important after 2-3mb down, and more bandwidth won't change the latency you already have. It would be worth it on 2 conditions... 1) do you download often and/or need faster uploads (running some sort of server from home, sending large files to the game server/website) or 2) is your current internet connection cost low enough that adding another $15 won't "break the bank" Personally, I'd do it, especially if I could switch to one of those internet phone companies and drop the local and long distance telephone companies.. that would more than make up for the extra internet costs.

It was most likely the auto 1 round kick/ban for tks. This has happened to me before. I never noticed getting a tk until I see "You have been punished for a teamkill!" The counter does not clear on map change, so if you have been punished a couple times that day, even on previous maps, then get punished again, you will be a victim of the autokick. Try connecting again, if you're still banned, let us know. PS. Don't kill me anymore

I don't have any problems with the addon, or even if they let the people that spent the extra $30 have all the cool new toys when everyone else has the same old stuff. My only complaint is that I don't have a local profile anymore, and I can't create a new one since installing the 1.12 patch. EA's "support" tells me I need to buy SF to fix the problem. That's just not right.

It wouldn't matter if you only got the bonus for the current class you were playing. You couldn't use the spec-ops "upgrades" when playing AT, etc. But... what are the chances of this happening? :peace:
