No, you don't need 2.9 installed. I had problems installing at first, but when I downloaded the file from a different server, it installed fine.

Be patient, every time a new version comes out, you have to adjust your play style to the new dynamics.

I had that problem with the first 2 tries, but had no problems with the 3rd.

Actually, 3.0 is more like 2.5 than any version since. All weapons are more accurate, not just the famas. Sniper rifle shotgunning has been crippled, and while I am sure it's still possible, it's not going to happen often. The promo CAN'T show what you want it to show, because the noticable changes are accuracy, recoil, movement speeds, etc. Just try it and see.

I've never been a fan of any american cars, but I am starting to like the new Mustang body style.

There's no point in trying to get certain people back Anyway, it's more of an accuracy/recoil change to all weapons, not a "new features" release. There are a few minor new additions, but not something a video would really show you.

It doesn't matter to me, I die within 10 seconds anyway, and there's not much difference spectating for 4:50 or 2:20. :peace:

No, the servers are not going down. There was a discussion about funding/donations that someone overheard, and started spreading rumors. Donations are always gladly accepted and greatly appreciated, but don't worry, TAC will be around for a long time. What games we provide servers for may change though :o
