I've done that... I was in my EU Tiger and I saw 3 transports hovering around a flag that had just turned red. I lobbed off a round which happened to smack into the one friendly transport there (might have been Joe flying that one as well.. )

Ain't that the truth. It's bad enough paying $10 per person to see a movie, but $40 for food/drinks is just too much

The Microsoft Action Pack is a yearly subscription ($299/year) of 'not-for-resale' software including 1 server 2003 license, 10 XP licenses, 10 Office 2003 licenses, exchange server, etc etc. It's good for a small business (you don't have to be a business to get it, you just have to register as one... I am a company of one now )

I could care less how many points anyone else has, I never compare myself to anyone else. I use stats to track my progess, and that's about it. Stat padders do annoy me, because they are taking up space on a server without helping their team, and that will not be allowed on any Armory server.

EA can't "block a computer" from connecting to a game server. They can only block a CD-Key or an IP address. I also seriously doubt anyone from EA would go onto someone else's server to "test" anything, they have their own servers for that. I don't think this guy is telling the truth, or not telling the whole story.

The only complaint I have (and it's the same complaint I had with BF2) is that people keep killing me!

I have it, it's good, but I still get slaughtered by the assault gun most of the time. The most useful unlock for me (so far) is the sentry gun. Gator had an "upclose and personal" run in with my little pet...

Remember you get more points working as a squad, where the squad leader gives orders and the squads follow those orders. Running off on your own might get you some kills, but working as a team will get you points.

I got mine, I logged in with my EA name (which is different than my in game name but is the same one I used in the beta/demo) and after that my "soldier name" showed up in the list... After selecting that it said I get a free promotion because of my BF2 veteran status.

I played 2 hours, went up a couple ranks. I like the "Field Unlocks" I think that's a pretty neat idea of a temporary unlock for a map or two. I love dropping the auto turrets inside a titan to cover the hallways

This should be split into a new topic, but I had the same problem. If you had the beta installed, uninstall it, then EA downloader should send you the full game. It thinks the beta is the full release and will just prompt you for a key.

I've been thinking about going support for the heavy MG. Should be able to get it within the first day or two. If it really sucks, not much time wasted :banana: After those 4, I want the speed and stamina unlocks.

I lag like crazy inside the titans as well, but you don't really have to fight there even in titan mode. You can keep fighting for the missile launchers while the faster PC using people do the work upstairs

I like them, they are powerful, but not overpowered. Once you figure out the tricks to piloting it, it's pretty easy to use it.
