Sorry guys, wasn't sure what section to put this in. I recently reinstalled BFV for some nostalgia and I came head to head with an old foe: the missing sound bug. I cannot get the in vehicle music to play (my fav feature in a BF game ever) nor can I get the radio commands to work. No sound comes out. I remember I had this bug before but I cant remember how to fix it. Any ideas? PS Im using a USB headset, does that matter?

Yeah, COD 4 has left me craving the large scale fights of BF2 again. As much a buggy POS as BF3 might initially be, I am totally looking forward to it. Also, on a lot of servers I played on, there were frequently 4+ squads, so the battalion idea sounds pretty sweet to me.

The HK is already used by Delta Force.... So there is definitely truth behind its reliability advantage over the Colt range. Yeah, Im sure the future weapons demo was exaggerrated, but the weapon is still far superior to the standard M4/M16. Also, there are no plans to switch to 6.8mm. They looked at it and nixed the idea. Instead they will be going to lightweight and semi-caseless ammo by 2014 I believe. They already have prototypes of the new ammo as well as a prototype 8 lb (yes, just 8 lbs) M249 SAW. We'll just have to make do with the M240's and M14's(which they are now re-issuing not just as sniper weapons) for higher caliber support.

Oh Colt is def. in bed with the Military... Its head is a retired Marine general I believe. I've heard nothing but horror stories about how the M16 and M4 perform in the desert... from people who have been there, not talking heads. There is a real simple fix, and H and K has created a version of the M16 called HK 416 (its something like that) that uses direct impingement to solve a lot of the jamming problems. Unfortunately only Delta Force/SF is allowed to use them at the moment. Its doubtful they will ever make it out to the whole military due to contracts. Im not making this stuff up, look it up.

I was playing on our server today and I killed a guy by nailing him in the bojangles with a flashbang. The kill-cam must have been hilarious, a shame I couldnt get a recording. I think from now on Im going to stick with our regular mode server.

Ill be getting Crysis this week while on break. I was on the beta and grabbed the demo lickety split, I freaking cant wait to play! I have been tracking this game for years

Im happy with my Comcast for now. Surprisingly few problems with them over the years, though I would definitely love to get my FIOS on once I graduate and am on my own.

I think I just had a joygasm. Man am I looking forward to the Penryns, especially since Ill be graduating college soon and since I dont have student loans should have a ton of spending money. Im waiting for my case to come in so I can start OCing my own core2.

So, from what little bit of the demo I have been able to play, its pretty freaking sweet, unfortunately Im having some problems.... So it seems from time to time I will lose complete control of the game. The game itself is still running, but the keyboard and mouse stop responding. Its just this game for some reason and it seems to be tied to the graphics settings, but I cant figure out which ones (ive tried fiddling with them all). Also, the error is less frequent if I play right after a system reboot. Any ideas? Oh, my system is as follows: Core 2 E6600 4 GB DDR2 RAM 2x8800 GTX Vista x64 Ultimate

I <3 Halo. Halo 2 was mildly dissapointing, at least the single player, but I really enjoy the plot. Its somewhat generic, but very well told with great voice acting. Also, the MC rode a giant bomb through space into an enemy cruiser.... Its like Dr. Strangelove on crack, it doesnt get any more BAMF than that.
