Absolutely nothing wrong with this RAM, it works perfectly, it was just bought accidentally for a DDR2 system and couldnt be returned cause the guy waited to long. falco: hehe, I too am a poor college student. Long story short, I ended up with 2 gigs of brand new pqi RAM that I cannot use myself. It works fine, it's been used like a total of a couple hours. I had to buy it for 200, I will sell it for 150.

Ah, another one of the old guard departs. It's been a pleasure. I go to an engineering school (software for me), and I watch those civils and mech-E's bust their butts. More power to you man, I know I couldn't do their classes.

In between all the godless (ironic isnt it), horrific things that are happening over there, it is nice to see a story of hope. Shame these stories don't make it into the news.

Just to point out: While the motion mines will explode as well, APM's can effectively make it impossible for a team to win titan assault. I can say from experience, its quite frustrating when you can't assault an enemies titan because you cannot go 5 feet without running into a mine. Just my thought, I personally would prefer mine FF on, but its not a dealbreaker.

I have to admit. the autocannons in 2142 seem even weaker than the pathetic on the Cobra in BF2, but maybe that's not a bad idea. Just think of all teh times the cannons on the Russian helo have rained unstoppable destruction, single handedly turning the tide of a game. Defintaely a game balance issue. My biggest thing with the walkers is the fact that my team definately lit one up with something 10 AT missles before the thing went down.

Hah go figure, I get the demo and the first thing I get is an error that crashes the program as it starts. It reads something about a file called d3d_dx9.dll or something like that is missing. Any ideas?

How do you get it? I have been playing a ton of AOE III lately and that looks fun to try : D

Im still here, I just changed my name from flak magnet to DEFCON. A lot of the old timers left after series of running incidences involving all matter of differences in opinion. Its actually really sad.

Its less EA, and more DICE, though EA is just as guilty in other ways. Its all part of the "Mountain Dew and Pizza" coding methodology. Coders and CS's just don't know how to apply a good engineering method to their work, instead just sort of hacking away at code willy nilly. I suspect this has been the case over at DICE for quite some time. Though being a software engineering major I might be a bit biased

You can still bunnyhop, do the prone jive, and gl people from 10 feet. The patch fixed less than half of my biggest issues.

I cant get my bloody BF2 veteran thing to work. I keep entering all the info but no matter what I try I keep getting a blank screen with the following error at the top: E 999 $ 4 $ Any ideas?
