DEFCON

Ah man, I loved the demo and I had to play it on a crappy laptop. C and C is not for those who want depth. It's for those who want a decent (if slightly corny) story based game with it's trademark FMV (Grace Park and Michael Ironsides, hells yes) and fast paced action. The new ION cannon effect has got to be the coolest superweapon in an RTS yet. Also, the explosions are cool, I love explosions. I might be biased though: I grew up playing C&C, Red Alert, Red Alert 2, and Tiberian Sun with my dad. The first time I stayed up past midnight was when my dad and I couldnt beat this mission in the Allied campaign in Red Alert back in 6th grade. Still, I recommend C&C to anyone looking for simple fun out of their RTS's. I mean I love strategic depth (cant wait to get SC), but sometimes it just more fun to crank out a horde of units and battle it out.

Maybe someone posted about this and I just missed it, and if that is the case I apologize, but has anyone been to the FA:S page recently? Looks like no one who has anything to do with that game in any form can behave in a mature fashion. Seems that the co-designer of the game has hijacked the project from the lead! Jackasses.... History repeats itself and no one is any the wiser.... WTF? Over

I went Colts just because Peyton Manning and the offense has proven themselves more than capable of rising above their pitiful defense. Still, I cannot believe how poorly the Colt's D is. It's pathetic. They only went 9-0 on a wing and a prayer, no one was really that excited. They were all like "they got lucky, their defense is awful." And this coming from hoosiers

Soooo, anyone up for some FA at some point? You know, just for old times sake. Seeing those videos really brings back some memories.

Ah, nostalgia... Thanks Ripper LOL An ownage movie set to Switchfoot. HAHA, that's good. I love the song choice as well. Nicely choreographed for the majority of the movie. I must say though, your skill with that Dragunov was frightening.

Thanks for all the kind words all! I hope didn't overdue the bit about the people here at school. Like I said, it was just the event that really made me think about who my real friends are, not a lament of the lack thereof at school. I mean it sucks, but I got y'all and I have peeps at home, I don't feel the need to attach myself to fair weather friends just to satisfy the occasional desire for physical human interaction. Besides I have had so much HW to do, I don't even have time for social frivolities at school any more ; ) PS Soooo... undertone, how much would it take for you to prognosticate on the release date of FA:S? I mean other than "When its done". Do you accept bribes through paypal?

Oh wow, sorry guys, I didn't mean to imply I was leaving. The only way I'm leaving TAC is if I get kicked out or worshiping Satan becomes the new clan activity. I'm not going anywhere. 11Bravo: I'm in the Guard and ROTC (yes, I know, an educated idiot, a nickelhead, etc. Cadets really are the lowest form of Army life) and a number of my good friends have been to Iraq or are there right now. Anyone who thinks less of you for what you have done doesn't deserve to live in this country, those people who treat you like you have a disease aren't worth the time of day, and they certainly aren't worth your time or respect.

Hey all, I just wanted to share something with you all. It starts off a little depressing, but bear with me, because that's just the preamble and this message as a whole is meant to be nothing but positive. Over the past couple days I finally accepted something that I have always kind of known to be true, but have refused to cope with. I'm in college, a junior, and I have finally come to accept the fact that I don't really have any friends here. The place where I spend the majority of my time, and I have no friends in the truest sense of the word. A number of friendly acquaintances to be sure, but no real amigos, compadres, comrades, etc. To them, I'm just a second stringer, if everyone else is gone, dead, has cancer, or in jail then people will hang out with me, but the moment others show up, its as if I don't exist. I'm sure this mostly my fault, I'm sure something about me (and I have a few ideas about what) puts people off from me here, and so I don't really harbor any ill will towards these people. Like I said though, that was just the preamble, because in facing this realization, I have really come appreciate more than ever my real friends. My buddies back home, and of course all you: the fine men, women, girls, and boys of the Armory Community. It's been years since I have been able to really get some good quality time in with you all, whether it be in FA, DC, or those couple times I went and visited Mac and Co. for some LANing/computer help. There were some good times in BF2, but not nearly as many in years past. Still, even though I am looking for that time when things might go back to the days of yore (Oh please FA:S don't disappoint), I still very much enjoy being a member of the community even if I am a bit of a stealthy one. I may not post a lot, but I visit the forums multiple times a day and I still feel that atmosphere that existed when TA first started, even if I am just sort of basking in the aura if not exactly able to participate first hand. So here it is, thank you Gator for founding this community, thank you to everyone else past and present (I fear naming any more specific names would diminish the global appeal of this message) for continuing the ideals of the clan and providing a home away from home, especially to those of us who could really use one right about now. To many more years of years of fun and camaraderie! Cheers!

A brand new venice 3000+ is 55 plus shipping, so I guess 35 plus shipping is what I would as for mine

Sorry, the vid card is PCIX, but I will give you the mobo for free and it has a PCIX 16 slot. It supports socket 939 AMD 64's I believe.
