having tried to learn 3Dmax, taken a look at mayta learning and cried, I extend to you a hearty congratualtions on figuring out how to do anything with those programs. Its no small feat

its nuts what you have to do to get in. Throw a B-ball like 90ft from a squatting position, jump 9 ft, run the 300yd shuttle in 53 secs, do 80+ pushups (i cant do 10), and do some number of pullups

well, i still have to actually apply and get in, plus passing the mad hard physical exam will literally require and act of god even with my new 6 day a week workout schedule. Im not there yet, maybe at the 25% mark.But thanks for the congratulations anyway

Well today was a hella bad day, though there was a little bit of good news. First, the bad: I got home, got on kazaa downloaded something, and BAM a virus undetected by my fully live updated norton, DESTROYS MY OS AND BOOT PARTITION INSTANTLY!!!! All my docs and pics gone though all my other data was on different partitions thank god (this mac, is why i part why harddrive) however my dad lost all his campaigning info (hes running for local office) Than, my CD RW was about to eat my xp disk (i have seen it before, its ugly) so in an attempt to save it, i had to keep the cd tray from pulling in and in the process BROKE my CD RW, 150 dollars GONE! Than, hours later when i was about to finish installing xp again, lightining struck nearby and took out ONLY our grids power, meaning i lost all my install progress. So now, hours later, i have finally begun the painful process of reinstalling all my programs and getting set up again. On the plus side, i did get a presedential nomination to West Point Military Academy.

you are good on the card man. All the weather effects are, are sprite tricks. Some pretty clever programming to get around a disability in the engine (no programmed in weather system). BTW everyone has a graphics card unless your comp is older than 7 years old. Hope this clears up your problem.

looks good, but then again so did 2.7 and it blew chunks. When some bugs are actually fixed than i will be happy. Until than, you can find me with a conjoined casualty model depserately trying to avoid being killed as i unstick myself from it. Oh and dont forget the screen flashing and screwing up when i used the m249 Joy!

i got home, its hella sweet once you discover how to ensure it deosnt eat your RAM and HDD. However, the end benefits outweigh any problems

feedback on map:I LOVE the basic terrain detail. There were a number of map glitches and missing textures (as well as polygons!) but overall, this map could be on par with golan (my new fav map). Some of the terrain could be evened out a bit to help keep helmet cammers (they didnt fix this bug as they said they did) and spawn campers from dominating. And of course some vegetation, buildings, and some more varied basic terrain textures. But again, on the whole, a very good start. Now all i need to do is playtest it with real people, lol.
